    Yep! This 2012 F550 2wd assumes 350+ miles on a full tank but if you look at the dash once it catches up to half a tank the truck realizes it only gets 7 mpg> and gets like 200 to the tank.     You can max and even exceed most limits on uphills you just will go slow as shit and swallow all the fuel in native lands I would stay in that 35 mph truck lane and shift as needed , I’m in central California aswell the grapevine and tejon pass shouldn’t be a issue if you downshift properly...

    Why would it make it worse I drive over 60 miles a day on a bad day all freeway minus like 4 miles city the city mileage would tank but over the 50+ other freeway miles it’d make a difference?

    5.3 factory 01 slt k1500 Yukon xL ratio , 265 60 r18’s so a smidge bigger than factory cruise control the entire way I don’t really go above 70 I let the felony commuters pass me while I sit in the slow lane
