Yeah I am 6'1" and 180 so I may need to avoid a .40 lol.
The XDM 9 compact is not much more than the Ruger, but my bro also wants the XDM in the same finish I want (bi-tone). I do not want to have the same model and finish lol. If not, I would say screw it and get it over the SR9c.
Yeah that is your best bet Reg since the pics can only tell a certain amount.
You may have shorted the remote or power wire when you made the switch if you were not careful to make sure they did not touch the ground, or the body of the car. If that is the case, you have a fuse or two blown...
I guess I made the right decision then. The SR9C was supposed to be an XDM 9 compact (so I can have a matching set) but I decided against it because I need some New Year party money lol.
How does that .40 recoil? I have heard they are bad, but have no personal experience with one.
Kind of. It looks like the top two speaker terminal have just one wire going to them? Also, the bottom terminal have both side of the double stranded wire going to one terminal each. Is that to make up for a thinner gauge wire than you wanted?
It will need some cleaning up also but I know you...
Thanks! I will also be shaken letting it go after almost six years. That's why I have to make the N^3BS surpass it off the bat so that I can cope lol.
I use to have the G4s (and IPCWs before that), but decided to sell them since I did not want haters saying I wanted to look like an Escalade.
Because of this I'm about to buy a .45 XDM 4.5 and 9mm SR9C as a gift for myself going into 2013!

BTW, I mention that because this thread is one of few that needs to be derailed.
More like the never ending 9mm vs .45 ACP argument. Neither side will ever let the other win.
9mm supporters say ammo is cheap, widely available, and can do .45 like damage with certain types of rounds.
.45 ACP guys say that it packs more "knock down power" and is more likely to do more damage...
I'm not going to lie, I think their should be a type of more strict gun control established. But I think it should be more with obtaining them (any type of gun), than banning certain types. I also think maybe periodical psychological test and mandatory wait periods should be established. Last...
Funny you mention that. I was taking out the trash after my post and remembered the thread where you and him were going back and forth. I then came to the conclusion that there would be no point in keeping this argument going.
Yeah I know but look at which one has more damage. Typically, when something (or somebody) falls on something else, the person/object fallen on sustains more damage.

That is not that bad. Easily survivable.
And OBS would have done the same at best.
Check out this (SteveK's) album and tell me whether the people in the OBS, or NNBS, had a better chance of surviving. That is if you can even recognize which is the OBS.
Oops I forgot to eve link the album...
I was almost sure that AMP made the GM steps. I guess they may just make the ones listed on this page.

Good job on getting the boards rapped up Josh. Most have took a good amount of wiring.
The pipes fabbed up in most quality exhaust shops are mandrel bent just like the factory pipes and aftermarket ones. I know a few that have mandrel benders.
Haha not about that loud life.
I am not either. Next time around I won't have such a loud system. But your system is probably even louder than mine.
Before you buy a catback you can have a shop just make you a new catback system with new piping, a muffler, and tips. It will still be cheaper...
That seems to be a good thing.
Guess the guys that like the stock Esky parts may have to invest in buying the Escalade now because interchanging parts will probably cost a lot now.
Sucks, because I was trying to imagine the interior of the 2014 SUVs based off the trucks. Looks like it was an...
