    Now My DRLs Are Out.

^^ Blank post. No information to see.

    A question for the collective.

Mine is some kind of flexible fiberboard. Not sure what, but not cardboard.

    Now My DRLs Are Out.

Well, engaging and releasing didn't change anything. Seems like a stupid thing for them to do though. Maybe a switch down there somewhere then ?

    Now My DRLs Are Out.

Well, I don't recall using it recently, but I could engage and release to be sure. How is that related?

    Now My DRLs Are Out.

Not sure how long it's been but I noticed it when I pulled into a parking garage. Headlight, brights, turn, park and marker all work. Not sure I really care about the DRLs, but I'm curious.

    A question for the collective.

The surface area of any wire brush I've seen is quite small compared to the stiff bristle brushes. We had the whole thing cleaned off in less than an hour. Mine was older so maybe the foam was decayed more, but a couple of swipes and most of it just crumbled to dust. A few more swipes and it...

What year do I want ?

I kind of wish I'd found this board before I bought. The main question I had, main feature I demanded was the rear barn doors. I wouldn't consider anything without. But I wasn't sure how late they were available and settled for a 98. Now I see that they carried on for a few more years. But...

    A question for the collective.

I had mine done at an upholstery shop. Little hole in the wall place, kind of nasty as a matter of fact, but they are constantly busier than they can keep up with. I did most of the work towards removal, but had them help me with getting 'the board' out and left it for them while I ran some...

    Are OBD-Y cables OK?

Has anybody used a Y cable to get a second OBD port? The port on mine faces straight down from the dash. I use a device from my auto insurance company that yields a decent discount based on my minimal driving. This term that discount is just under $100 for six months. I know people will...

Why are my interior lights on?

Messed around with them for a few minutes, then got ready to leave. When I went back out, they were still on. Figured I'd try again when I got back home. By then, they were off. I'll check in the morning when it's cold again.

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

OK, so almost two months and it's low again. Clearly not a major leak, but what, puncture/object, rim or valve stem? Seemed to take quite a while to air up last time, like it didn't want to take air easily, but that could have been the adapter I was using on the air hose.

Why are my interior lights on?

Go out to the garage to get ready to run errands in the wagon. All of the interior lights are on in the 'Hoe. Rotate the thumbwheel, click the override button a few times, open and close driver's door, turn headlights on and off ... still on. Weird. I keep a battery tender on it, so not...

    Back Up - Reverse Lights...

I added auxiliary lighting on mine too, but I'm a bit concerned with drawing too much power for the circuit. The pod I used is rated at 20 watts, but considering it's only on for the few minutes I'm backing up, it shouldn't be an issue.

    Fuel Grade vs Additives/Treatments

I used to keep that on hand for my Sebring that had an issue with the level sensor. Helped somewhat. Still have a couple of bottles so may take one with me on the next fill up.

    Fuel Grade vs Additives/Treatments

I've read a few threads on later models talking about fuel grades and problems in using the cheap stuff. Not sure if that applies to mine. I just can't afford the top fuel stuff on a regular basis. It's why I paid $4K for a 25 year old unit instead of a $100K for a new one. So i use 89 and...

Help me diagnose my power door locks please

As noted, first step is inspect and lube. Some sort of spray lube to get to all of the actuator and lock linkage. Lockeze inside the keyholes and operate the keys several times. My doors all worked when I first got it, but the cargo door lock assembly was stiff with the key and didn't work...

    Strike??? Thoughts, insights, predictions.

Ford guy sez 'the future of the company is at stake' and something about needing money for investments .... blah, blah, blah .... OK, maybe stop stuffing so much of it in your own pocket? And all the talk is about the CEOs. How many other C suiters have similar take homes? How much is...

Also saw maybe a mid 60s El Camino ... the real small version. Rough shape, faded paint that might be original. Guy was driving it though.

This is probably expensive. The dark spot is a through and through puncture of the panel. Not sure how fresh it is, but maybe that's why it hasn't been fixed.

    Extended Warranty?

Couple of questions from someone who will never be in that position .... Will you drive more than 80K in that time? 80K in 6 years is only 13K per year. Some people drive 2-3 times that each year. If a component fails and is covered, what happens if it fails again a year or so later? I've...
