Sort of like cancer in people, some get it, others don't. Not a spot on mine anywhere. I've seen lots of pictures of others here without any at all visible. Yet I've also seen several with panels flapping in the breeze.
Unfortunately that is extremely regional. I have four yards that could be called decent. Only one has frames before about 2005 and they are mostly just that .... frames. Fully picked over and what's left has been rained on multiple times, so interior and electric parts are wasted.
I forget what I paid on the Bay, $45 or so. Works fine ... so far.

Main difference is whether you have the rear defroster or not. Look for the extra button on the lower left.
I have those in mine in grey. Covering is coming loose and I can't find replacements at any reasonable cost. Place in town will recover them at $40/ each but they say they won't look original. Lamps on mirrors don't work anyways.
Mirrors and housings are glued in place and impossible to...

My Green thing came from Spokane with a few more miles (80K is a few). I only paid 4K and got two more doors.
I stumbled across this bit in a completely unrelated article:
"For lab managers, the task has not been easy. Modern health and safety requirements mean new constraints Manhattan Project bosses never had to contemplate. "...
This section just opened up to me, so I'm not sure how this will go.
Sylvania Cool Blue lamps are real halogen, not LED. They are a very bright white, much whiter than conventional halogens, more like the 5000K LED type white.
I have several sets of 9005 and 9006. Not sure what all years...
^^^ How do you justify a 29 million dollar salary?

And that's just one of how many dozens of executives?
This thing came with an aftermarket locking gas cap. I found I could turn the key to uinlock it and remove the key leaving it unlocked (which is what I wanted). But, I put a tag on the key and tossed it in the fold down armrest.
Went to gas up a couple of weeks ago and the cap wouldn't open...
I was thinking of adding a square D ring style tie point to the inside of each door down low, then threading a lashing strap with a cam lock rather than a ratchet strap. Hold secure without pulling too hard.

^^^ I don't have a center console. I have the 60/40 bench with a fold down armrest..
I do the center console thing in the Taurus wagon sometimes, or just lay the passenger seat back as far as it will go. I can get a ten footer in there if I go up over the dash.
Well, my thinking is the doors aren't light and I'm not sure how strong the hinges are. Supporting the doors static isn't the same as supporting them while the vehicle is in motion over bumpy roads.
I can't leave the tailgate open on the wagon without risk of losing the upper glass portion the...
^^^ Quite easily. Unions have a long history of corruption and unions bosses have a long history of self-enrichment.
And that's probably as far as that discussion can go here.
Question.
I get about 7', maybe a bit more from the back of the front seats to the inside sill of the barn doors with them closed. Obviously I can't get a full 8' board laying flat inside and close the doors. I could leave the doors open a bit with the board protruding and lash them closed...
See, I thought I wanted something smaller like that. Until I saw inside a few and decided there just wasn't much room for things I might need to carry ... like lumber. I got tired of dragging a trailer behind the wagon for so many trips to big box stores.
