AC has me stumped
An easy thing to check is to test the engine coolant temp sensor, maybe compare the block temp with what the scanned data shows when it's cold. Also, if you disconnect the ECT sensor with the engine running, do the electric fans turn on?- Fless

Error Code P0449-00 On 2008 Tahoe
The vent solenoid is in the rear of the SUV. The purge valve is on the engine. Generally speaking a circuit code like this points to a faulty vent valve, with the electrical "circuit" failure inside the valve itself, which is most common. A good bidirectional scanner should be able to look at live data of the HVAC controls and actuators. For each actuator, what position is commanded vs. what the actuator is actually doing. -

When the crank sensor was replaced was a CASE relearn done with a scanner? If not, have it done if not just to rule it out as the cause. Immobilizer? Bypass? How safe are these ignitions?
Colorado gives us two registration cards, one with the address to keep in our files, and the other without, to put in the car so even if broken into, the owner's address isn't available from that. Of course, there are other things like insurance cards to blow that theory.- Fless

Tech 2 scanner vs Autel
That's a "gotcha." The Autels -- at least my MaxiPro MP808S-TS -- aren't like that; updates are not required unless you need them for the later model cars. I don't work on anything that's only a year old. After the initial year it does prompt you when you boot it but you don't have to renew... -
Tech 2 scanner vs Autel
When I had my Tech 2 I used a soft tool bag from Harbor Freight. Because I left the cable connected to the bottom of the Tech 2, the bag was long enough to accommodate that with it coiled. It can be a pain to disconnect that cable all the time so I wanted something that would allow me to leave... -
