Spark plug wire & spark plugs

i would recommend purchasing the correct crimp pliers for those...i have made many of sets, the pliers make it much nicer to do. i just have the summit brand and they do great.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

i like, 2 other items though... 1. what was the need or desire for the aftermarket over flow ?? 2. i highly recommend covering your terminals on the battery top, that bus bar is fused and actually very delicate, we have them fail on our work rigs daily

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

where are your finished pics, i always contemplated adding a logo or script to mine after i painted them. looked for an fuel rail cover also as the intake cover required the entire intake to be removed to get it out.

    Rear Shocks Question

a note of caution, using the 1500 TRUCK line of shocks...valving could be a factor in ride quality...weight spring rate, suspension design, all come into play as far as valving goes.

Cowel hood or side panel air scoop?

i have commented elsewhere about this also, it could have slightly higher air temps at idle, but at speed...i doubt it. this area is far beside and more forward of the radiator. i could see if it was an open element on a carb application, yes it would heat soak very easily. but even at that...

Cut/polish - new to me Tahoe

the one big key note to remember...work the area that you choose...BUT COUNT THE NUMBER OF PASSES IN EACH DIRECTION. once you have the desired look, your time will be saved by following your counted steps. if you start over on every area, you will take days to complete. but once you learn the...

Rear suspension clunk noise after lowering

I recently had a very similar situation on my lifted 17...during inspection i removed the track bar ( lateral link behind diff), the ends were JUNK at 78K, BOUGHT NEW from dealer and all was fine for a few trips, then it started again. finally chased the noise down to bad endlinks on rear sway...

17 Yukon 4” ReadyLIFT SST Lift

depending in design, i tend to drill several holes in mine to soften them up. also do this when lowering to keep the cush, but not to remove entirely

    2017 Tahoe/Minor scratches ..

depending on your skill level, i usually find automotive paint to match...clean and fill the chip, then lightly wetsand with 2500-3000 and polish back out. most chip repairs looks worse because the new paint sits on top of the old clear, that portion needs to be removed leaving the paint only...

BDS Suspension UCA Kit (#121152) - NEW product? - Has anyone tried these yet?

there are differences in each model year prior to XX year, i do not recall the specifics, but i do know the material type of your stock arms matters due to the ball joint used. gm did switch to a single ball joint size for all arms, but i do not recall which year that stated

Anyone running ReadyLift 3” lift with 18” wheels?

agreed, it could be done with a spacer...just dont care for info being projected that someone may misinterpret...a factory BS wheel and XX" lift may not work. most think fender clearance until they install and have other issue. always best to full cycle suspension and turn wheels fully while...

37” BFG K02 install with 4” SST Lift

sadly, they do not...very similar to the earlier years where gmc had black pillars above the tailights and chevy was body color.

Anyone running ReadyLift 3” lift with 18” wheels?

you may want to reconsider this comment, the increased angle of the upper arm could casuses issues witht eh barrel of the wheel contacting the arm at full lock...generally the front leg of the upper arm. on my 17, with 2.5" the wheel barrel is very close, depending on your backspacing, the...

    Parking sensors are not great

you may have a bad sensor...i have no issues with this at all. is it giving the flashing red dash illumination while in rev ? try adjusting the distance of the front sensor, i keep mine a short as possible.

    Opinions/experiences, 2" level tire size

on an IFS front end, the level does not offer much in aid of clearance the way many think...like stated above. what fits in the wheel well at stock height is what will fit with the level. That said, possibly on a straight run, full bump situation...the level will keep the added tire height out...

    Raptor style grill lights

far better look. Could the 2 outside lights be moved the next opening outward (would require trimming, but might balance a little better) ? But overall , still looks good.

    Opinions/experiences, 2" level tire size

here is my 17 with a 2.5f/1.5r, this is a 285/50/22 (33.22" T x 11.2 W), i barely had trim the fabric wheel liner. No doubt, this could be one with a 2" level. i do think you have any worries.

Cut/polish - new to me Tahoe

i have used several on different newer gm vehicles.... and brand name that you can source will work fine, for dailys i hit local parts house for meguiars or 3m products. depending on how bad, the pad will make a difference too. if you dont mind 2 passes at least, grab a couple micro fiber pads...
