    Brake caliper upgrade 2017

No, they are a stock replacement, but better pads and rotors. I have a 22, 6 spoke stock wheel. It did dress up the area, but did not fill up any.

    Brake caliper upgrade 2017

Any reason why a rotor pad combo won't suffice? I personally run the powerstop z36 package. Better pad, slotted rotors. And I did the full caliper swap for their red powder coated units just because.

Cowel hood or side panel air scoop?

I know in my case...highly cut up stock air box (done simply to see if any changes were noticeable)...I have not see any drop in meage due to large tire and lift...but it did cause a dead spot in the pedal and I have retarded timing by 2 degrees with the use of my Diablo. It did start to ping...

Cowel hood or side panel air scoop?

Does that not prove the point....showing that they indeed do flow better. Not saying the won't/didnt/can't make gains...but it simply shows flow is improved.

Cowel hood or side panel air scoop?

Go read the air intake thread a few down from this...black bear did some testing of I takes... Yes the factory does restrict and that thread has dyno proven evidence...then add actually driving and moving air...it will get slightly better even yet.

    Tire question

If you have any good pics of the side looking down the vehicle it will be easier to confirm. Your wheel should be slightly closer to the outer edge of the fender than a stocker...mine are a 24mm. Slightly deeper BS than your wheel.

Cowel hood or side panel air scoop?

Not sure what you are looking to gain, but I generally trim the air box itself to open in the forward panel, intaking air from around the headlight area.

    Tire question

https://www.motometalwheels.com/product/wheels/mo970/?attribute_pa_finish=gloss-black-machined-face So they only offer 1 bs for your vehicle...no matter what diameter. You should have the 20x9 with 18mm offset.

    Tire question

Inside is inside by brakes usually. It will have the width and an offset usually. Well worth pulling a wheel to see...or if you feel confident, look up your wheel and see what all they offer. I bet you can narrow to a choice or 2 very easily

Fresh oil change and catch can info

Fresh oil change and catch can info

the LT series in this case...the egr systems accumulate oiled condensation and blow by, returning it to the intake for emissions. now with direct injection, it is even more apparent that a catch can is needed as the mixed fuel/air doesnt aid in keeping the valves clean. the oil residue builds up...

    Y pipe

highly doubt you will, since the EPA cas been cracking down on on the OFF ROAD USE claims of the manufactures, best bet would be to source a replacement and gut them your self. you will have to reweld your self, or have a back yard buddy do it. i have done numerous sets, using either pipe or...

Spent WAY too much time researching ride quality of 3" proper lift vs. 2.5" front:1-2" rear level kit for my 2015 LT Tahoe. Suggestions?

i too debated for awhile over what to get...as this time, i have a 2.5 F / 1.5 R lift on a 285/55/22 Toyo AT3. Stock front Coils assembly's, with Readylift upper arms ( these clear stock wheels, whereas most do not). the rear shocks are 5100 bilstein now, at 75K miles, i believe to have a lower...

What's The Best Way To Widen Rear Axle/Wheelbase?

the ONLY REAL option is to swap a wider axle in... that said, Spacers with HUB CENTRIC DESIGN is the best, that places load off the studs...an deeper wheel with offset is a second but lseeser means. i would lean towards a custom valved shock, it may firm the ride some, but is a much better...

New Yukon XL owner (soon to be)

lifter ticks ( especially on cold starts, or even hot ) Trans shuttle shifting or studdering ... most describe this as driving on rumble strips...that is a sign the torque convertor is failing ( those years are known for that) other than that, just your general electronics having bugs...try...

    Airaid or k&n ?

of course it was designed to be quiet....is it restrictive ??? YES< and that has been proven. the question is, at what cost ??? slightly more noise ?? OK, i will do with the slight engine growl, generally it is only under harder acceleration. normal driving it isnt noticed much. and YES i do...

    Tubular trailing arms!!

2015 PPV Tahoe Misfires after Heavy Acceleration

no reason why they can not correctly diagnose the issue...did the engine run excessively HOT and feel like a major struggle to make power ??? that is indicative of a high back pressure issue from clogged cats. i have had many do this in the past, and you can tell immediately

before hacking it up, did you swap the rear bumps for shorter versions or are they still stock ? that does help a little if travels are mostly unloaded.
