Well the wife has decided to keep the Tahoe for now
So with that she had wanted a system in the thing for years I just made excuses not; but parts started coming in today. So here is the results (1 door)
Skar 6.5 in all doors, with Nico mat now to wait on the subs/amp to show up.
I didn’t...
Thanks for the info on this. The good tool is $20 but to swap to the 08 tensioner setup would be about $20 more. I may just go to the actual tensioner setup.

Well finally had something major go wrong with the Tahoe. No bad since buying it new in 2012 and putting 81k miles. I have zero complaints
Had to replace the driver side motor mount. This also fixed the random clunk I was getting
While doing both mounts I also replaced the idler pulley...
Hopefully a 14’ish CTS-V wagon. It’s the wife’s and that’s what she wants. I’m trying to talk her into a C-7/8 Vette

Cleaned up the wifey wagon. We are thinking of putting it up for sale here really soon. Still cleans up nice for a 12 with 74K miles.

I wasn’t a fan either. (Wife’s choice). There’s supposed to be rose gold. But I think it works out pretty good. I get a lot of looks cause of the color of the spikes
But I may be somewhat biased to the bronze/rose gold color.

Washed the old girl today and a new coat of Chemical Guys Jet Seal. She may be a lil old but cleans up real nice!! Also sold the old headlights and reinstalled the factory set with all new LED bulbs. Works great surprisingly

Noticed the oil was a lil low so decided to just change it since it was due. Also flushed the power steering fluid.
Now that’s done all the fluids have been changed in the truck.

Not actually today but in the last week:
Drove to the Bay Area and found out the day prior to driving 500+ miles home that the wheel bearing was shot. Actually both. (Just thought I should mention that it was making noise for about 2 months prior. I thought it was just the new tires)
Anyway...
Well after getting the new tires installed on the wheels i was finally able to get them installed
The old ones where 295’s. The new ones are 305’s. It really made a difference. Truck rides so much better
