UPDATE. finally got rid of it. The ANC bypass harness was all it took. Take in mind these harnesses are hand made when ordered so it will take a few days or so depending on number of orders ahead of you. $19 after taxes solved my headache...
Just curious, what kind of cables are you guys running for those in the snow? I see a whole bunch on Amazon all with mixed reviews. I have stock 22” rims. I don’t plan on going anywhere with snow, but I thought I’d just have a set in my car.
I bought a replacement one from here comes pre-painted.

I meant cutting from the bose connector. It’s part of the ANC system. If you look at the schematic you will see all the mics and other things associated with the active noise cancellation. Anyhow I’m not cutting anything lol
The speaker is fine. Music plays nicely. Supposedly the dealer turned off the active noise control. I was thinking of picking up one of those active noise control disablers first because it’s like $15.00. Then if that doesn’t work an actual car audio place that can hopefully diagnose the random...
Another update. Brought the car to the dealer and they told me this is normal. Haha. What a joke. Anyways , I read on other forums that cutting the Crankshaft Position Sensor Replicated Signal wire is the solution. Anyone ever try or heard of this? I’m gonna take it to a car audio place and see...
That’s what I’m thinking
I had the dealer disable the active noise cancellation. I think it might be a ground issue. I’m not having any distortion or feedback issues when playing music. Just randomly my exhaust (aftermarket) sound will come through the subwoofer at low speeds when braking for a...
No only when car is on. Also I noticed today when the noise appears and I step on the gas the sound goes up and down with the gas pedal. Almost as if the exhaust is coming through the subs. Again it last for an only few seconds then back to normal.
So I got this installed and everything works good. ( factory Bose system) Problem is every few minutes or longer the sub starts rumbling for a few secs. It starts off low then louder. Dealer disabled active noise cancellation. And it happens whether the music is on or off. Any ideas?
I was looking at the UPR catch can. Do you know which model would work for my suburban? I couldn’t find one specifically for my vehicle just Silverado’s. Emailed them and called them and no response yet.
I got the same kit. I didn’t see any new front end links. I got everything in the picture below. No end links.
Apologies to the OP for getting conflicting answers. I will just tell you just from my experience I have drop spindles and the front did not need anything for the front sway bar to...
That is why I replied that he doesn’t need anything. Because he is using drop spindles, he will get less than 2 inch drop. And that isn’t my car. It’s another members. I was simply showing you that you don’t need modifications to install the Hellwig.
Ok then. I’m lowered and have aftermarket sway bars by Hotchkis and no modifications were needed to the front. Especially no cutting of anything. Got my Hellwig replacements about to be installed next week. I don’t need anything. Not saying you’re wrong. But I didn’t. And before doing my...
