Sawzall? Oof. I would say I am in a mid-rust zone and I was able to get my upper and lower control arms out with just a prybar. When I did my pitman arm and idler arm I loosened the gearbox so I could get the pitman arm puller on it. The new pitman arm went in on the same splines, the gearbox tightened up and still my steering wheel was a few degrees off-center. Annoying. On a personal note I installed my remote start today and it works great. I could not, however, figure out how to wire in the lock and unlock wires. Did a passlock bypass on my Tahoe today, getting ready for a remote start install. 3 wires going into the lock cylinder that is under the steering column cover. Was super easy. Tested resistance with an multimeter. Saw 1.8K. Have a box of resisters. Tried 2k but didn't work. Got 1.8K with 3...- Logan5

Yup, the 23mm bright white ones. They are angled slightly outward to get full coverage. Those things are nice and bright, but the wires are so thin wiring them up takes a little finesse.- Logan5

Yeah I mounted them flush to a metal surface in the front, but in the back that's the plastic taillight housing and I spaced it to prevent it from melting the plastic.- Logan5

Here's a bunch of mods I've done over the last month or 3. Front-side window tint. Local tint shot wanted $180 to do the front sides. I ended up getting some pre-cut tint off Amazon for $40 and installed it myself. Came out great. Under hood LED lighting with a manual switch. I don't care...- Logan5

I have some copper braid but I didn't try it. I will next time. And yes the polarity issue is the same as with the cluster. I stuck 1 led on and then plugged it in quick to test it. Then I tested the rest by watching that one go on and off.- Logan5

Corvette Servo help - clearance?
So I got my corvette servo and want to install it but I am very concerned about the clearance. Yep, same idea. The bulbs on the CC board are soldered through the board, so make sure your soldering iron has a fine tip so you can melt out the old solder through the board, then the LED pins stick right in and you solder from the back. Update to adding trans temp gauge...
