I still need to figure out which louvers I want on mine and get them and do that...
Temps are already ridiculous.
And just recently, my underhood blanket fell apart so I ripped it out.
I actually bought a full set of four pieces because mine were all trashed, have yet to put them in. And probably never will but now I will use them as a template for either some thin aluminum sheet metal or potentially that corrugated plastic that was just referenced
I got the corsa intake and put gold tape all over it and wrapped the ducting, and it made no difference from the stock junk.
That said, all of my radiator baffles are blown out/rotten so I'm sure my engine bay sees some weird air
Aside from time and space to do it, been slowly getting the funds together too, working some O.T. lately. So I'm getting there.
Already have a BTR camshaft and AFM/DOD delete, ls7 lifters and buckets, ls6 valve springs(I think), pushrods, Whipple s/c kit and I think a few other things like h2...
I really need to get started on my LC9 I bought almost a year ago and haven't touched.
I have no idea if it's healthy or not(supposed to be, pulled from a wrecked Silverado), and I'm still figuring out what all parts I'm going to put in it
And I've had the good luck to notice that...
Mine are noisy, but I'm so used to it that it doesn't seem so. ♂️
They balanced weird at first...they were good up to 70-85...then bad vibes.
So had them rebalanced so they were happy at 80...and vibrated at like 45-50 for a while.
Then they've been good at all speed pretty much.
Yeah I've had a couple gallons of coolant and distilled water in the back for months because I knew about it and I've been planning to figure out what's going on. Haven't had a chance it's been raining every weekend here just about.
It actually was so long that the two and a half gallon jug of...
I'm pretty sure my Cold Case has been leaking for maybe a good 6 months at this point. Also not sure exactly where yet. I think it's somewhere right in the center and down low potentially. I need to pull the bumper one of these days and find it before summer kicks off.
Only reason I've been...
I've also had a trans tune on mine for at least 70,000 miles that chirps second on my 33 inch mud terrains.
So I have not been nice to my drivetrain. Lol
Another fun one.
During the morning commute I started hearing a noise, couldn't tell what is was. On the way home, it got much louder...started diagnosing on the drive. Sure enough, found the original u-joint looking unhappy. Nicely drove to the parts store for a new one and back.

Well, my driver seat foam and cover are really starting to show their age now. The bottom is getting ugly and I can see some of the foam...and also just uncomfortable now.
Suppose I need to start shopping for covers and foams.
