I was thing of doing this to mine also. I was think of using one from a different vehicle. I've been looking around but haven't found anything i like yet
Some dealers do have that 100 mile radius. I had a loaner 2 weeks ago and i had the same 100 mile limit. It had a gps and it would notify them if we were speeding or left the area.
If the problem started after your exhaust install check your O2 sensors, did they leave them unconnected. Do you still have your catalytic convertor installed? If your exhaust is too free flowing you might not have enough back pressure.
If your buying used, make sure its still under GM warranty or get a good aftermarket warranty. These trucks have a lot of electronics and repair bills can add up quick.
Do you have the rear screens? I had a roku connected to the hdmi and it would stop working when I would get that same error message. I think the dealer reprogrammed a module and it hasn’t been a problem since.
Truck looks awesome. Whats the story with the 4 crossbars on the roof ? I was think of doing the same on mine to sort of create a platform like a overland rack.
There's a seller on EBay selling them for $90. Hes already sold 93 of them. Makes you wonder were hes getting them from. I was promised one for my Suburban and never got it. Then i found out its on the infotainment unit, Ive been using that one.
I have the similar shuddering on my F150 and i was told i needed the torque converter as well. I think im gonna try out the flush first. Thanks for the idea
Post them on here, Ebay you have fees and have to ship. Facebook Martketplace is better option. Craigslist and Offerup are pretty much dead for selling.
Cheapest one on ebay is $315 used OEM. You could try aftermarket there about $200 each. This seller actually has the pair for $203.99 which is cheap...
