I’ve not had any issues up front but the rear half of our Yukon xl fogs up like crazy when it’s raining and there’s a couple people riding in the vehicle
I’ve used this same pressure washer on all my cars for years and no issues whatsoever. All the chrome on my Yukon is wrapped and the spray doesn’t affect it one bit. I’m quite careful with it and never get very close to the vehicles. And yes this is definitely a commercial grade pressure washer...
That’s a good idea I actually kinda forgot about that inside button cause I never use it. I’m not sure 1000 psi would set it off though, my Honda shoots 4000 psi
This is our first vehicle we’ve bought new and I had plans to baby it and keep it nice. After a year and a half of ownership it’s not gone as planned. Paint damage on front bumper during shipping, front fender scratched by dealership at 3k miles, rock chip on windshield shortly after that...
If we didn’t have several other vehicles to drive I’d be a little more concerned about their lack of urgency but I’m sure I’ll hear from them soon. Wife drove by there earlier and said it’s not sitting out front anymore so something must be happening with it
Bastards! It was probably that evil Alexa app in the dash listening to me tell my wife about all the problems with these new units I keep reading about on this forum
I trust this small town dealer a lot more than the bigger place 30 minutes down the road. This place said they were busy and had vehicles already scheduled ahead of it so I can’t really expect them to drop everything for me
Ain’t no thing. Bought it sight unseen while in transport and it’s been great up to this point. Hoping it’s something easy but the more issues I see popping up with these new ones is really starting to make me think ditching the 2011 suburban for this was a mistake…
Stopped in at the dealership...
Yukon is at the dealership now so it’s in their capable (hopefully) hands. I stopped in and talked with them this morning and being a smaller dealership in a small town they’re quite busy and have several techs out on vacation. They said they would do their best to fit it in but gave me no...
VR6 makes an incredible sound that’s for sure. I’m a die hard vw guy so getting my R a few years ago was a dream come true. Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it
And later that day after posting what I said our Yukon went limp and died on the side of the road without warning…highly doubt it’s related to the update but pretty ironic
There was no warning lights or messages other than the cel. It lost power I pulled over and it died. Hit the start button and it cranked for 5 or 6 seconds and no start. Sat there for a few minutes with everything off then tried to start again. It cranked 5 or 6 seconds then started. Ran fine no...
It’s a 2021 not sure of the build date. We bought it august of ‘21 and it’s been great so far. Hoping I don’t lose too much confidence in this ride cause we really like it
Died on the side of the road last night. Like it was out of gas, just went limp. CEL on but nothing else, we shall see what the dealer says. 5.3 with 21k miles
We had the RC 2" kit installed at the dealership so I'm hoping it will not affect the warranty but I guess I never actually asked that question. You'd think they wouldn't install something that voids the warranty without at least saying something
My one complaint about the interior is the hard plastics seem to scratch really easily. We have little scratches all over the place. Center console, door panels, B pillars by the seatbelt and the rear cargo area is scratched all over the place. Black interior so maybe it just shows up more? We...
Old thread I know but I've found that my rear liftgate easily opens on it's own when using the pressure washer to knock off the dirt and grime before washing. If you hit it just right in the recessed handle opening the water pressure activates the button and the gate opens. Has happened multiple...
I will be ignoring any and all updates that come out in the future. As of now everything on our yukon works as it should so I don't feel the need to change anything. If it ain't broke don't fix it. These vehicle updates will probably become just like the smartphone updates that magically make...
They’re just held on with double stick tape. I got new ones with the illuminated front gmc and the little rear ones had 3m tape, just needed to be peeled and stuck. I did have them custom painted body color first though to make em a little more unique
Ours went in for water on the floorboards around 3k miles. Turned out the sunroof drain tubes were too short at the bottom and water was not properly draining out under the vehicle. They added extensions as per the tsb about this issue and it's been good ever since. Just passed 21K miles
I've also noticed this to be a problem. The rear camera is pretty much useless when it gets wet or dirty, which is quite often for us here in the PNW. The image you end up with onscreen is just a blur
What kind of sketchy insurance company do you use? I've had 4 different cars run into by idiot drivers and got paid by their insurance company each time and never had any impact on my own insurance rates. Maybe their premiums went up but mine certainly did not
