You're not the only one, I'll bet I could find a few more nits. My 2012 which I still own has nothing on the order of what you've found the only real flaw is a slight bumper misalignment that I didn't discover before the first waxing. It's why I still own it robust and dependable that and it...
Actually I've been on the fence for over a year whether to buy or not. I've been on a list and turned down two opportunities to order as I've assessed whether the mechanical problems are being resolved. And they are not.
But yeah after seeing the C8 crowd for what they represent and the gang...
Nice to see a balanced discussion of the situation. If this appeals to you stay away from the popular Corvette website they actually influenced my buying decision. Anyway way to go, TYF, I only wish I still needed a large SUV.

But would the dealer have treated you fairly if outside the window to cancel the purchase? You had them over a barrel and they treated you as they had to.
If high gas prices and horrendous quality problems haven't convinced buyers then this won't either. Lower your expectations and bite the bullet you know you want it.
Ordered a conservative build GM vehicle dealer said that higher optioned builds may have a higher preference. I don't think anyone who knows the true situation is being truthful so if you want something badly enough put in orders all over the country. I'm not committed to buying so if it arrives...
