It's not only the inflexibility of the sidewall but the unsprung weight of the larger wheel that affect ride. The 20" is as large as I would want and they allow one to escape the impracticality of Magride but if vanity outweighs practicality go for it.
Who took the utility out of SUV the modern SUV is nothing but people movers. The least they could do is provide a flat floor with the bus seats folded but better would be third seat delete.
Talked with the service manager who said bring it by to look at the dent. I was expecting them to refuse responsibility which could still happen. Next town over and at least two trips to remedy the problem just added $30 in gas to the price of that oil change. I remember when a $100 used to buy...
Which one knocks your balls over? Those options that become unused or despised will mean little if you kick yourself later for not getting the other one.
I've said I'm not worried about depth so much as hardness but oh well.
Perhaps I should start another thread but I'll try it here first: Day after an oil change at the Cadillac dealership no less, I noticed a dent in the front of the hood right where one would press in closing said hood.

A recession is the only hope for these things. As it stands people are waiting in line to buy them up no matter what woes await them. Quality doesn't matter. I'm beginning to believe the best way to shop for a vehicle is to start at the service center.
The Harbor Freight is an orbital. I know to do it properly I should have multiple polishes and pads and do test areas. I've read what I can find and the only truly unknown is the paint hardness and if I stick to polishing I shouldn't have to worry about the thickness. I'm not going for a full...
I would like to move into machine buffing and waxing with a Harbor Freight polisher Lake Country pads and Meguiar's M06 one step cleaner wax to keep it simple. I have some light swirls and a few light scratches that I want to minimize if not remove.
Question for those who may know, how hard is...
Incompetence abounds at dealerships. No one should have to crawl under an $80,000 vehicle that is new and under warranty but that is the state of our country and the retail market. Viva la China baby.
The fuse block blew? I had a lightning strike blow a fuse to my electric water heater once upon a time. I changed the fuse and nothing more so I wonder what type of catastrophic failure takes out the fuse block.
Had a late '80's GMC pickup delivered with pockets or voids in the seat. Had to let them try to inject filler like it was a Kardashian but they eventually replaced the seat bottom.
If you had worked for GM you would realize upper management doesn't care about much other than collecting the next bonus and you don't get bonuses by bringing problems to light, you hide them.
Everyone is different but there is no way I'd buy a GM without a discount and I'm not talking suppliers. Do people get a fix overpaying must be like *******, God's way of saying you have too much money.
I think GM and others use both terms 'wood' and 'leather' loosely. Always wondered how they get away with the creative descriptions without including disclaimers.
