@grouch i see that however never heard of this being such an issue on a v8 equipped model. maybe there was some issue with the internals on the v6 that was causing it to happen more often. used to be hardcore dodge we used to regularly ask this dakota guy if he did his chain yet. regardless...
@grouch @adventurenali92 phone is acting up i cant reply correctly. ya had a 99 ram with the 5.2 so this is just a bigger version of the past. its only got 125k on it atm but it definitly needs some help. that plenum is already on the list. far as im aware the 5.2 and 5.9 were equipped with a...
soo i dont have a gm product again but im still around. i didn't buy this one it was gifted to me through a family member passing. body isnt in bad shape and interior could be worse but thats mostly where the positives stop. it does run and drive and i do feel its road worthy besides its...
you could also have a shop or a friend who has a higher end scanner a look. if your advance or trims are way off or all over the place it could point to another issue.
might have tweeked the pan a bit. when i do an oil pan or trans pan i use rtv on the threads. rtv will generally add enough resistance on a bolt that it wont back out. green locktite should work aswell as its the lightest of them but as rtv usually works for me and your already using it so...
thats a tough one i think i found a beautiful set 0 rust no damage at a salvage yard but i could NOT get the pins out and they wouldn't let me cut the hinge off.
i used to do side work myself until people kept started neglecting thier vehicles because my rate for brakes was cheaper than just having pads changed at a normal shop. every time it was pads and rotors and i would get the "it just started making that noise". other various repairs with the...
my first car was a 5spd omni think it was an 88?? either way i hated it back then and tried like hell to kill it. course i was constantly speeding and doing other dumb stuff. my mom ended up taking it from me and helping me buy a 79 f150 that had some toys and big fat tires on the back. i...
id definitely have to clean up before i take any pics of my tools haha. then id have to post too much might hinder me from posting. 2 40in craftsman boxes 1 with a full 40in topper a large double door knack box and a craftsman work top bench box. 2 more standard size roller boxes aswell...
never had to tackle this task on anything serious thankfully. just a bunch with those oring style intakes. however i will like to throw in victor rienz for any and all gaskets. some cases your definitely paying alot more but they fit soo well compared to even oem stuff. even when something...
as stated above find out what a good cat setup you should be running. between your tuner and such they will give you the deets as performance is all they do. to get the cats u want it will be semi custom anyway so they just need to tell you type. order size to match what u have and get them...
mastercraft axt if they are offered in your size. great tire when i actually had a truck to have a set on. nice look nice tread quiet and well mannered.
if your local auto parts store has any they will have a high heat thread sealant paste meant for oil that will work better than teflon tape. also i have just put a heavy coating of orange rtv on threads before installing with great success. stupid dodge drilling manifold bolts right into water...
well im not sure they realize the maintenance shop is primarily equipped because of me lol. going to be surprised when the only thing left is a bench and a pedestal mounted grinder. i have a double door knack cabinet i have there i had originally intended to bring more stuff in but i opted to...
only wish it was like that at work. 3 tool boxes i have to keep locked up or ill be missing stuff. new bigger company is taking over and they want to supply the shop with tools so they aren't technically liable for our property. the other guys are complaining while im handing in a list of...
i feel you there last car i bought had a nice bt hu in it but it worked like dog s**t. i wanted to replace it anyway so i bought all the correct stuff and lo and behold what did i find? a bunch of wires hacked off just twisted together with tape. well sorry my advice didn't get you anywhere...
so id have to be there to help further past your potential computer problem but ill try to help you with a few bits of information. you said later engine?? do you know what year the engine came out of? they flipped firing orders like mid model run once. also if its an old ford dont bother...

there's actually a bunch out there that deal with mostly classic cars. thats one i regularly pay attention to for eye candy purposes. nice thorough pictures and i believe they also can arrange shipping for an extra fee.
you will hear what sounds like your running aggressive offroad tires and the sound will generally get worse or less around turns approximately above 30mph. depends on which side is failing for what turned direction makes the sound fade. sometimes when it starts to go you can feel some slight...
as mentioned above for the obd they already sell obd2 to usb for your suggested setup. it is a corded setup for use with laptops and such. if you bought one and cut it open you would be able to get the pinning that way and then just make your own mountable usb jack that could be either...
