Dress up with some chrome on the Rear Hatch and 'B' and 'C' pillars in 07-14 Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade

My brother got these for me when I got my 2013 Tahoe, I never put them on but took some pictures of what it would look like. They attach via 3M double side tape. Top $$ offer + freight and they are yours.

Adding the rear view mirror display w/ camera to 2015+ yukon

I completed this 'dash cam w/rear view' a couple of years ago. KD Links r100 (KDLINKS.com) I am using a larger Micro SD card, a couple of months ago I captured an accident that proved a guy ran a red light and caused an accident ( I will post that clip later). The camera specs: KDLINKS R100...

"There are 106 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses." Clean looking ride.

I know right, we in Htown measure distance in time rather than in miles when it comes to getting around town, ha.

Do it the sooner the better, you never know what tomorrow brings, Right? BTY, do you still have that '07 Tahoe? You may have noticed that I replaced the drivers side Valve cover to correct a known issue with the old style covers. I did not research the model years correctly and I already had...

2013 LT - PCV change (i.e. valve cover change) engine code LMG

I plan on keeping it. It is in great shape, just needs a new gasket and Botta Bing. I have been shopping for a catch can, is there any features that I need to look for. like draining it, etc?

Yeah, we usually take our time, make it a 3-4 day trip and then take some side trips when we get there. It ends up being about 4,300 miles when it is all said and done. I am retired so the Tahoe is the road trip car. Sedona , L.A., Utah, San Francisco , then East Coast Key West to Maine

2013 LT - PCV change (i.e. valve cover change) engine code LMG

You were 100% correct, the 2013 has the new style valve cover , but the drain hole in the PVC drain was patricianly clogged. I have a 2013 Tahoe with 130,000 miles and noticed having to add 1-3 qt oil between changes. Researched WWW and found one issue was the drivers side valve cover design and...

Thanks for the welcome, we road tripped to your area over Thanksgiving to Princeton, NJ to visit inlaws. Took them to Prax in Philly a couple of times. They liked it better than Atlantic City.

Yeah, I tried one of the packing tools back in the day, did not work for me very well, went back to the ' by the hand method' no gloves. I think I used GoJo or Gunk to clean up, it was a messy job. One lesson I learned by mistake was not using Wheel/ Bearing grease, and destroyed the bearing...

I still remember busting my knuckles trying to get the retaining spring back on the brake shoes, ha. I don't know why I didn't put a pillow on that block, would have been better to set on . I still keep that 4 way lug nut tool in the truck, because the std jack tool doesn't fit my wheel locks (...

I agree, one of the problems is how complex they are making them now, Thank goodness for Forums like this and YouTube, so you don't have to buy the entire service manual for your car/truck.

I hope so, I learned so much about working on cars, plumbing, electrical , etc from my dad ( think I learned to cuss as well during those times as well, ha) He is 95 now, and likes to watch when I have a project on the Tahoe.

Yes on the 'red striped' I cannot remember if they were Firestones but that sounds right. They came std on the '66 Goat and the 442. It was great growing up in '60s. But it was also great getting fuel injection , disc brakes and electronic ignition.
