Infamous P0303 with no obvious cause

You surpassed my level of observation there. I see the purge valve opening, but I wouldn't think it's staying open. It only shows up after a bit of a drive, but i dont know that much about how it works. I can probably get fuel trim data with what equipment i have but i haven't had the truck for...

Infamous P0303 with no obvious cause

Shady used car dealership. I called out the code when I bought it, they said it needed a coil. That is the only code and I have given it a couple of hundred miles since purchase and no other codes. They said they fixed a rear main oil leak, but that's all they mentioned.

Infamous P0303 with no obvious cause

New to me 2008 tahoe ltz, 0 vin engine code, with 172k on the clock. I've swapped injectors, coils, plugs, wires, and replaced injector connector. Rough idle at cold start, runs smooth(er) when warm, but still not smooth. After a while it does produce a code for evap purge, I think it's a 0496...

    2007 EXT Test Drive

Awesome, thanks. I can deal with motor motor or trans mounts, it's the internal stuff I'm looking for signals on. Leaks for sure, I plan to crawl up under it while it's running for a minute just go look around. No AFM though? Was it not on these 07's or just not on the L92's

    2007 EXT Test Drive

First time looking at the 6.2L L92 as a possible addition to my small collection. Just wondering if anybody has any thoughts on things to look out for with this vehicle before I buy it. Block is aluminum as I understand it, so that's new to me and I've never owned the 4L80, so that's also new. I...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I wonder often if I'd rather have doors than lift gate. Like good.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Haven't done much lately tbh except for cleaning up some stereo stuff. Upgraded removable sub and amp, added 2nd amp for rear speakers and replaced/upgraded all the built-in speakers. She still has stuff I need to get done, but the stereo is no longer on the list. Gathered all the parts for the...

I can't lie, I'm a little nervous. A lot of work and money in the little project. I didn't add that I also removed the rear ac and changed the hoses and compressor out to match. So there's a little more risk in this one.

Finally got around to swapping out the ac compressor. Replaced the tensioner while I was in there and the o-rings. I have now officially replaced every component from the evaporator core to the condenser. Just need to cross my fingers and charge it up.

    Fog light isn’t working

Specifically need to know if the LED that backlights the button that you press turns on. There is a 10amp fuse in the panel in the side of your dash. I think it's for interior illumination. If you haven't checked ALL those fuses yet, I would stop and do that first.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I finished the exhaust install yesterday. Took it for a test drive. Got really scared because I started hearing a terrible noise. Realized it was the car in front of me. That guy has some serious problems. Then I started having some problems. Couple of codes P0171, P0174 & P0300. So I parked it...

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure he was aware that was an option. They do get hot though. Even if last a few years less, they're cheap enough to replace.

Looks like you spaced it off the surface. You'll get better heat dissipation if you mount it flush on the metal surface. Just a tip, not necessary, but the resistor may last longer.

Yeah, I have nothing bad to say about Milwaukee. I'd take either one based off price. They're both great tool manufacturers.

I'm just using the 1/4”, but my brother uses the 1/2" at work and that things just crazy. I think the 1/4" is plenty enough but I'm planning on putting the 1/2” in the truck for road trips and off road for changing tires.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Since the old girl is just high enough for me to crawl under, I usually don't lift it to to do work under there. Problem is I couldn't get the leverage to break the bolts on the trans mount bar (don't know what that's called). Since I had some 5ah DeWalt batteries, I figured I'd try their...

    02 Z71 Skid Plate

$20, but they do fit nicely. I will recommend to any one that uses them, keep the plastic layer on them when you install them. They'll turn a lot easier. Or maybe grease them. They stick really well.

I ended up using these rubber isolators and they're very squishy. We'll see if they hold up against the elements but they definitely worked to get it reinstalled.
