Found this online a while back. It goes in the rear drivers side fender well. It the same place as the Kicker factory add on subwoofer.

I did not disconnect the battery. AFE's instructions did not state to, although I did consider it to get the computer to relearn. When you disconnect the negative terminal, does it reset all radio settings or are they retained.
Has anybody had any idle issues after installing the AFE intake. I installed the newer updated kit with plug in the bottom in my 2017 denali and I started having a rough idle. It was only rough at idle. I didn't want to put up with it so I put the stock parts and the idle smoothed back out...
2017 Yukon Denali with no buffeting or vibrating. Rock solid at all speeds. I do notice more interior resonance with the windows down than my 2002 Tahoe. I consider myself one of the lucky ones.
BlackBear, have you guys installed the AFE momentum in a 2017 yukon denali. Members on here said it won't fit and AFE says the have not fit it in a 2017 and that is why the website only lists it up to a 2016 model year.
Dealer did the work and they didn't take any pictures. You would never know it is there. I told the dealer about the re-program and when I picked it up, they said they were on the phone with GM tech line and ended up not needing to be reprogrammed. Not sure if they were told bad information or...
Install complete today. First some perspective. I had a 2002 Tahoe with 8volt eclipse head unit and amps, JL sub and MB Quart component speakers. It was a solid setup that had some serious punch. The stock Denali setup was pretty good in the upper range but of course lacked low end rumble. The...
I thought I would add to the thread. GM accessories now has a sub kit from Kicker and it is bose compatible. The instructions include a dealer service notice that the active noise cancellation can be disabled by the dealer via a calibration change. So if you don't want to cut any wires maybe the...
Kicker said it is an 8" sub. If you don't turn of the noise cancelling the extra bass interferes with the system and I believe produces undesired feedback
It looks like if you have any trim that doesn't have noise cancellation you can install yourself. If you have noise cancellation, a dealer ECM re-calibration is required to turn it off.
Kicker emailed me the instructions. It looks like it goes in the rear panel where the jack is located. It also looks like if you have the Denali with noise cancellation that the dealer has to reprogram the ecu to turn it off. Did anybody know that could be done.
This is the closest thing to a stealthy install I have been able to find through google image search. It appears to be a one off custom enclosure but perhaps since they did it once the second will be easier and less expensive.
