I put 3.5" coaxials back there. I used Infinity Kappa 32.9 for the 2 ohm impedance.
IIRC what came out of there looked like a tweeter, but it was bigger than 1". I'm thinking 2.5".
The 3.5" took some slight modding and I don't think you could go much bigger.
Hope this helps.
Shaking while braking is not the mounts. That is likely warped rotors.
$900 is highway robbery, IMO. It takes no more than an hour or so to change the driver's side (which is likely the only one that may be bad). Where are you located?
Lift the hood so you can see the engine from the...
As said above, roadforce balancing is what you need. It is my understanding that it can fix most balance issues and identify things that can't be fixed. It costs around $20 per tire in my area.
Good luck.
ok. Going back to basics. What autos do you have access to? My Escalade is the only thing I own that requires the CANdi. The other 2 GM products I own are 2005 MY and don't. If you can, try using the unit on a pre 2007 auto without the CANdi hooked up and see if you can get in and view...
I did some Googling and found this: https://www.justanswer.com/cadillac/48pbn-cadillac-escalade-cadillac-escalade-07-park-assist-malfunction-code.html
and

Hopefully those get you started. I've not...
It sounds like you are having the same issue I was with the cable and the connection to the CANdi. I'll see if I can get some pics of what I did to fix the issue. It is not on the pins side of the connection. I modified the female side of the connector. Mine needs to be "done" again. I'm...
You don't need a laptop hooked up unless you are programming and you shouldn't need to have it hooked up to the vehicle to get it to boot up without error. I assume the CANdi error is during boot up?
Check the connection between the cable that hooks to the Tech 2 and the CANdi. I had issues...
On my Esky, they aren't actively cooled per se. It is merely a fan that blows ambient air through the seat cushions. It is still effective, though. I love the feature and use it every day.
Sorry, OP. I can't answer your Q either.
Tech 2 or MDI/MDI2 will do what you need, but they are so much more than code readers and are not cheap.
I don't have any experience with any others. Sorry.
The PCMCIA card is what holds the software that the Tech 2 runs on and is the one in the same GM English Card you referenced. I wanted an extra as without a working card, the Tech 2 unit is a paper weight. You won't need a separate card for each vehicle unless they are different brands that...
I bought from this seller: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/219113?spm=2114.12010108.0.0.ZzOmTi
My main reasoning was the amount of time they had been in business and the cost of the unit. Since this is a crapshoot, I didn't want to have much on the line to lose.
I didn't get the hard plastic...
You will need a laptop with a serial port to perform any SPS programming. Dell D620 is a popular model. You will also need a subscription to TDS. You can get 2 day subs for $55 as you need to program. Here: https://www.acdelcotds.com/acdelco/action/home
Without a laptop and a subscription...
Did you try the pressure change method? I'm not familiar with the ones you got, so I apologize if this info is not applicable.
As an FYI, I bought these for $55 (at the time. $2 cheaper now)

Junayd,
How's it going?
My method is to calibrate the torque settings in my arm to put them back with as much force as it took to remove them. Err on the side of less (as you don't want to break or strip anything) and then periodically inspect for leakage and tighten as needed to stop any...
There are some threads on fixing these lines where you basically cut out the metal to rubber junctions and use fuel injection line with multiple hose clamps per side as it has more integrity than the stock lines that leak.
I did this to my Escalade and it worked and has been bone-dry ever since...
You should be able to go to some place like GMPartsdirect.com and plug in your VIN. If that is not definitive, you could always call the dealer with your VIN. They should be able to help you.
Good luck.
