    Parking Brake not working correctly

The parking brake shoes were just replaced. I think the person who did it, my dad while I was out of town, didn’t get it back together correctly. Which would surprise me because he has been doing it since the 60s. I need to open it up and look but I was hoping for some part name/number/pics...

    Parking Brake not working correctly

My parking brake is only engaging on the driver side. Put the truck up on jack stands, put it in neutral, and put the parking brake on. I can still freely turn the passenger side wheel. The driver side grabbed a decent amount but not enough to hold the truck in place. I started checking the...

2000 NBS Blue Steel Burban Build

I got them from VipMotoZ on ebay. They are ok. Nothing special really just a housing and some reflectors. Not much to go wrong other than if they were not sealed properly. But the tinting has held up nicely, never had any problems, no leaks, no nothing. The fitment is good, like stock. I would...

2000 NBS Blue Steel Burban Build

You should definitely go if you like loud engines and race fuel, take ear protection. I love it, grew up a few hours from Dennis Anderson’s head quarters. Went a ton growing up. If you go find the biggest stadium near you that they come to and go to that one, much better when they have lots of...

    The bear ate the cat!

I will check it again when I get home tonight, would be nice to wait and do headers at the same time. I went to his classified thread and talked to him about it, it’s an option for sure cause I can probably get them welded in no problem and the price is right.

2000 NBS Blue Steel Burban Build

2000 NBS Blue Steel Burban Build

You are correct, the 4 turn will require more input for normal driving. I would not recommend a 4 turn to anyone unless they have very big tires. Driving in a straight line would require much more attention and effort, and all it would do is reduce wear and tear on steering components. In the...

Sweet, I was thinking if they get welded in between the O2 sensors and I get Black Bear to clean the tune up I can pass inspection, I have to go to a backwoods place anyway because of my tint so maybe the guy will just let that slide as well haha. I have a couple leads out to shops around here...

    The bear ate the cat!

Once upon a time 2 cats lived under a big blue bridge named Suburban. They were warm and happy and frolicked about together all around town. Screaching and howling late into the night for all to hear. And then one day a big bad bear came around Subruban bridge and wanted to lift the bridge up...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I had a shop press and the rented ball joint tool, did the lower controls completely, replaced ball joints and bushings. If I had known how hard it was gonna be and I would have had the money I would have just bought all new ones.

I hear that, definitly a sick ass setup. I’d love a truck like that. I want to build a bog truck, big agricultural tires, 2.5tons, 600ci big block, id love to do...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah was a massive pain, it’s one reason my rebuild took so long, we spent the better part of a night fighting that. Tried multiple different sized pickle forks, tried just heat, tried the shop press, then went to sleep got up the next day and did the heat and freeze and cut. I know Zach has...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Ran into the same problem. This is what I did since the spindle gets replaced anyway and I was doing the lower ball joints as well. I took the spindle and the lower control arm off together. Laid them out on the ground so the ball joint stud is sticking up, heated the spindle right around the...
