Nope, did a little synthetic sealant. I didn’t take them off, opened the hood and taped off the fender. I don’t want to put too much effort into them Since I’m swapping them soon.
Nice, I’ll have to look them up.
That’s how it looks in the sun, I need to get more pics like that.
I’ve got the Cognito idler pivot assembly upgrade, Cognito heim joint tie-rods, RedHead HD Steering box, and I put new AC Delco pitman and idler arms on when we did the lift.
I don’t have a...
So after talking to you guys, like 6mnths ago, and then never actually doing it, I finally did the wet sand and buff to the headlights.
These lights have been on my truck for 4/5 years and looked awful. Now they look new. I still want to swap to chrome housing and PM grille.
I used 2000 grit...
375/65r16s
16x10s
1.25” front spacers
2” rear spacers
You helped me decide to go that way, we talked about your setup and the whole tire poke thing, running 15 wides on 9” runs. I still want the old school 18x12s w/ 33x15.50s. Closest I’ve found is custom 16x16 wheels and swamped 35/16r16s
Do have more detailed photos of the led strips installed, I need to do something about mine ASAP.
And I finally got to wash it and since I was at it I polished the grille, bumper, and the headlights.
Polished my wheels in the rain, why? Because bare aluminum and road salt don’t play nice. I’ll have to do it again Tuesday or Wednesday but this should help. So far no pits or issues.
Thanks bud, I love them as well. I feel like bilsteins tie in the old school look and ride soooo nice. I’ve been thinking about flipping them around so the braided lines are in the back for a more clean look?!?
Close 20x12s and 33s. You can fit these with lift keys, I ran them like that for years.
Haha just the old setup. Sucks tho I’m already tired of this new setup and looking at SAS. Won’t do it for a year or two but going to start planning it out.
Swapped spacers today, can’t really tell a noticeable difference. Grab photos when the suns out.
From 2” down to 1.25”
No cut studs wheels have 5/8” indents in the back fit perfectly with a 1/2” of stud sticking out.
I’m doing good, health has balanced all back out with a little diet control turns out I’m just super sensitive to too much dairy. I can eat it but gotta be careful. Besides that not much happening wife got hit by a drunk driver so doing the whole settlement but a new car thing right now.

That’s awesome to hear man, what brand?
And yes most everyone with a lift does this, I think there is only one brand of lift that doesn’t increase front track width. Most people put 2” spacers on the back.
Best way to make sure it’s the right size for your truck and lift is to put the lift...
Haven’t been on here in a minute. Suburban is still going strong so I’ve just been driving it. Haven’t changed anything since last post but winters here and tiz the season.
Update: Not much happening at this point, just been driving it and enjoying it! Still got more parts in the garage to put on but this silly hurricane isn’t helping.
Steak it’s what’s for Suburbans! Sad part it already feels small...and slow. Needs SAS and whipple! 2018 Super Duty with 8” on 40s went by me the other day and I felt like a Prius haha.
I hear ya bud, I’ve been seeing doctors almost ever week, we got some of it figured out but I’m having to take it easy until things get better. They think I slipped a rib and cause damage to the cartilage around my sternum. It’s not pleasant but I’ll take it over my gallbladder failing. Turns...
Dang thats definilty not the norm, I measured when I was planning it out and I should have around an 1/8” clearance with the 1.25” spacers and the indents in the back of the MT Classic IIIs. Still haven’t put them on yet though, lol
Welp not much has changed, just driving it at this point. Health is still up in the air and haven’t felt good lately. Hoping to work on it this weekend. In the meantime here’s some random photos.
Pretty much every morning at the end of my road I see the sunrise.
School went back Monday, let...
