I’ve got a decent amount of experience, I wouldn’t claim to be a professional but not an amateur either, used to do detail motorhomes and trailers on the side but that’s mostly fiberglass and aluminum polishing. And I’ve done my personal vehicles a fair amount of times, Suburban looked ok when I...
That would be awesome! I know I can do it, just not sure about pressure to apply and how long to do each step. I always end up burning plastic when I try to polish it.
I’m being a chicken, watched the videos then never got up the mind set to actually put sand paper to my headlight. I can do paint, metal, and chrome. Plastic it not my friend..:(
The headlights I have are Spyder haha, VIPMotoz sells all kinds of brands just depends on which ones you buy...they don’t tell which brand you’re getting either, lol. My headlights have Spyder on the back, these tails actually have Sonar brand stickers on the back.
Thanks bud! Glad the back...
I was a little hesitant to try them with all the post on here about, single LEDs going out in them and all kinds of stuff. Gonna stay positive about it and hope they work out, my VIP Motoz headlights have stood the test of time and abused other than the lens fading bad they work perfectly fine...
They are plug and play, they have resistor packs build into them. They work well no hyper flash and cruise control works again. And they are considerably brighter then the old ones. I’ll try to get the fiancée to help take photos tonight.
Ooh you stop it, gonna make me blush.
But I did want to thank all of TFY and all you crazies for helping me get it this far. This forum has been a saving grace, everytime I have a problem I come here first! It’s been a blast so far and the journey is really just beginning......
Specials thanks...
I liked the ones you put on but wanted something a little more subtle in the back to go with the darker blue paint so I went with the smoked red. Hoping they have that nice cheerwine candied red loo.
Shipping says Saturday as long as weather is nice I will be putting this in as soon as the show up.
Waited a month and added some more pocket change to the $69, and ordered these tail lights!

At this rate you might start looking into buying a roll back and just driving around with he hoe on it.....I joke, I can only imagine how frustrating all that must be, hang in there man once it’s fixed it will be a thing of the past.
Lol that is what she said when she came home and saw it! Lol
:chewie::happy160::hat:
I wish I had taken the time to get better photos this past weekend, I am bad about that lol. Need to cordinate the rain, with me washing it, and a free day to drive around....
Update: First weekend is behind us and the new setup is kicking ass and taking names, I probably put 200 miles on it so far. I cant pass inspection to save my life(re-tuned for tires size to close to inspection time lol) and nobody in a 30mile radius will even began to try to give me an...
Yeah they rubbed, I had to cut the valance back some, and the just barely scrub the corner at the bottom of the bumper. But they don’t rub anything else. They’re very close to the control arm but they don’t hit. I just put 30ish miles on it, country roads and in town. No problems navigating the...
