Where is this? I think I've seen that exact Burb driving around Phoenix. But then again, there are probably quite a few lifted Suburbans with full bumpers around the country.
Concur with everyone else that the 2011 with 96k is an insane deal if it's AWD. Go get it! That would be a great deal even for a non-XL AWD Denali.
Also,
I'm impressed :D And I thought I drove a lot with a 30k mile/year average.
I am considering trading in my Suburban - don't worry, not leaving the community! I am going to trade for a lower mile Suburban. I did a BB tune 21k miles/9 months ago, so my AFM has been disabled for as long.
So there are no questions during a dealer test drive ("hey, why doesn't it go into V4...
Oh yeah, I totally agree. Not my taste either, but maybe someone here will like it. Long as we're posting front end stuff, here's another ridiculous one:
And here's one that I think looks great:
I'm also on the hunt for a NNBS Suburban 2500. From what I've researched, 08+ have the 6L90E, not the 6L80E. They share powertrains with the Silverado/Sierra 2500 6.0Ls, which also gives them all the 14 bolt rear.
2007 Suburban 2500s have a 4L80E in case anyone is curious.
It's generally not a good idea to combine front 5100s with a 2.5" front kit. Even with the shocks on the lowest perch, they will be stretching your angles quite a bit.
Guess I was wrong - there is not as much of a market for 22s as I thought.
$800!
Edit: Also since there are a few of you asking about shipping, I'll look into the possibility of shipping them.
It doesn't look very good, and I think the previous owner was bullshitting you if he said he had just changed it before you bought it. The whine is worrisome. Did you replace the fluid with a heavier gear oil?
As for 4x4 not engaging/disengaging, this is more likely related to your t-case...
135,000 on my 09 6.0. Have recently replaced PS pump, alternator, pulleys, and tie rod ends. Original transmission, changed the fluid and filter at 130k, shifts great. But it does have a very slow oil leak, I believe from the pan gasket.
You can pull the power steering pulley out a half inch? That's not good. The bearings in the shaft might be shot. The problem with the power steering pulley is that you need to replace the pump itself, because that's where the bearings are located.. you may as well replace the tensioner...
Beautiful Escalade, OP! Looks pristine. Take good care of that WDT paint and it will turn heads for years to come. I particularly like the way mine looks at dusk.
Hell, I drive a 2009 Suburban and still get this crap sometimes, especially since my line of work isn't exactly known as high wage...
I am firm at $900 at this point; I recently put them up on the local craigslist and got some interest so I do believe they'll sell at that price eventually.
Yes, long as it's paid for and all I have to do is drop them off at the post office/shipping center. I just don't want to go through the trouble of packing them up myself.
Glad to hear it. Some mechanic once told me that replacing the oil pan gasket (or oil pickup o-ring for that matter, same process) on a 4x4/AWD 5.3/6.0/6.2 is rated at something insane like 12 hours of labor. So sounds like you got a good deal with $600.
Switch to high mileage rated synthetic...
I think I bought my sensors from the same guy on eBay, I paid $53 for 4 of them and they're just sitting in my glovebox waiting to be installed. He says they come off brand new vehicles.
Maybe those sensors came off a Silverado/Sierra 2500, which call for around 55psi in their 10-ply tires. I'm...
Not sure what year you are, but this procedure should be similar for all NNBS nav systems. Press the menu button on the unit itself. Then touch "Display" on the top right side. Then touch "Brightness/Contrast/Mode." From there you can set it to night mode, which will make it very dark.
There...
