The leveling light doesn’t light. It adjusts on its own. I don’t notice it while moving, just when stationary at lights, in my driveway, my garage—everywhere. It’s like it wants to look pretty and pose for the camera if you are starionary for more than 20 seconds or so.
yes. Better than an amusement park ride. Seriously, I don’t understand why the suspension has to go up and down so much. I have heard it is trying to level itself. But really, I’m going to move in about a minute and then be on some other incline at the next light. Seems like you would be...
That is not normal. Highest I have seen is about 160F. It sounds like the thermostat inside the transmission that regulates transmission temperature is stuck closed.
These brakes are light years better than the previous generation. Might be the electronic boost not finctioning correctly. Also does take awhile to wear them in depending on how mich you use them.
You forget factor of safety. But yes, those, depending, should be replaced as well, including gearing—ahem.
So it does matter where weight is concerned. Try putting on larger and heavier wheels and tires and tell us you stop in the same distance. How about stock tires at 40-45 lbs each to e...
One thing left out here is inertia. Upgrade to larger/heavier wheels and/or tires and you will want larger brakes with more torque just to recoup the loss imposed by more inertial force due to the larger rotating mass.
My 2021 Z71 has those items—all except the power adjustable pedals. I don’t think any trim level has those. But everything else mentioned my Tahoe has. Interesting.
Has anyone switched from single exhaust to dual exit? I know you can switch the rear valance, but what about the hangers for the left side tailpipe? I don’t think the welded frame hangers are on the left side for single exhaust models. Curious what everyone does.
My level works fine. And is adjustable. The higher you go with just links the stiffer the suspension will get since there is more psi in the bags. I went up a little f+r and have a “taught” feel.
Could alway combine with a 1-2” level for a stock ride.
I think you could lift the Air Ride with a level or lift kit up to 2-1/2” and use the EdgyMods links to “fool” the height sensors.
I just used the EdgyMods links themselves to level the truck. High quality and work great.
Check out the Auto Start-stop Eliminator in another post. It is awesome and works perfectly. I have used it for almost two weeks and actually forget about start-stop.
