    2003 Denali XL, 200,000 miles... My climate control light has suddenly gotten much too bright, like double as bright as it should be... the surrounding lights on the control are normal brightness, just the blue temp is extra bright.     My switch does not light... so maybe it is bad.... I do not hear the motor even trying to move them in, even when I help it manually... but there is no hesitation moving them back out, hit the button, they move fine...

    Yep, exactly... 03 Denali. Maybe it has to be running, I'll play some more.... Ok went and played with it running... Mine will go back out with the button, if I manually pull them in, but even after several attempts, they will not go in with the switch, only by hand....

    So, I got my build sheet from GM, and on it it says: DL3 exterior mirror w/driver side auto dimming pwr fold and adj, heat turn signal & ground illumination. OK, I have everything but I have no idea it is power folding? How does that work?

    Yep, all mine was needing was a new belt... I went ahead and changed both belts and both tensioner/idler pully for good measure... Started her up, AC kicked right in...

    Mine is almost certainly the belt, the compressor turns by hand.... I just overlooked the belt, because it was still around the pullys and I assumed it was all one serpentine belt...

    Musicars, I will take that advice, and replace BOTH belts and BOTH tensioners sine I saved the expense of a compressor... good cheap insurance against future troubles....

    Well, Sumo, this is just about funny... I took your advice and decided to craw under her to see if the compressor would actually turn by hand, and the clutch... as I crawled under it, I could see a belt hanging... yea... LOL, the belt was still around the pully on the compressor, and from above...

    I tried resetting the controls by putting it on auto, 60... shut off truck... pull fuse, wait 2 min, reinsert fuse... start truck... ac showed 74 and went thru reset.... didn't fix it.

    Yes, I can see the clutch engage and spinning... and hear it when I jump the low Freon plug, and the gauges do not move... but no odd noises. I have not checked if the compressor spins free when off, I will do that...

    It looks so crappy because I started scratching off the grey paint to just leave the shiney black, but damn it is a LOT of effort to scrape off... not sure how to do it 'easy'.

    OK, the drawer I ordered finally arrived, so I did as 1992rs suggested, gutted the old cd changer box, and this drawer fit like it was made for it... popped it all back together and am real happy with the result.

    I have this console in my 03 Denali, tonight I removed the cd changer (the 6 disk) and left the hole open... I was wondering if there was some made without the cd changer, and is there just a cubby hole box to fit in the hole? Has anyone installed something better than simply leaving it open?

    Puddle light on power mirrors..

    I have a kinda similar problem with my 03 denali... upgraded all interior lights to LED... Now if I manually turn on the interior lights, the map lights are on full bright, but if I ONLY turn on the map light with the button, they are half bright. I have no clue why they would be different...
