All my lights were out in mine too. It's been a little while since I took it apart, but it can be done. I used a very small flat screwdriver to "gently" pry it apart. I replaced the bulbs with Radio Shack #7219 micro-lamp 12v 60ma. Good Luck- mtl111

99 tahoe missing rear interior
Those panels get broken in that spot pretty easily. Normally it's the passenger side from people climbing in and out. Are you looking for both driver and passenger side? I've got both in grey. -

A friend of mine with a 97' Z71 had a similar problem. his would do the same thing, but wouldn't restart right away. His problem turned out to be the fuel pump relay. It looked like it had been getting VERY hot!- mtl111
