I tried to do that and found out I could only drive one monitor, either the backup cam in the mirror or on the Rosen. It seems that there isn't enough signal to drive both. I got alot of wavy lines and distorted pictures
I asked him the same thing, If he makes X amount of HP Y=High ET Times Z= Roll Bar. I think this is at the track he runs at in Killeen, TX. But you are right ET is the determining factor in roll bar requirements according to NHRA
buy a pull out, it is cheaper to do. You can us a L92 and I would get rid of the AFM while the engine is still out. Change the cam and lifters and valve springs get it tuned and never look back. With the right tune you ought to see almost 400 at the wheels. Use your oil pan and front...
I don't like buying reman stuff so I went to the dealer and bought everything.
My son is using his G8 to drag race and he just bought a high rise and he will be adding Nitrous to it. He wants to get 1000 HP at the wheels. He will be forced to build a roll bar when he hits 700 HP. He is so close...
I am going to throw my 2 cents in here as I have done the DOD delete and used Texas Speed for their parts. My motor had 237k miles on it when I did the delete. My mileage hasn't changed a bit. I don't have the vibration anymore either. I also was suffering from poor fuel mileage averaging 16-17...
Well I decided to get the Tahoe out and drive it alittle and discovered the rear brakes were dragging. SO I replaced the brake lines and calipers and was able to resolve that problem. Now my son is trying to convince me to buy his motor out of his G8 which is almost 700HP at the wheels. He...
The part number on the pump was a melling 10296 and not sure what caused the failure. It just wouldn't prime on startup. If you feathered the gas then the oil pressure would get to about 12-15 psi and be ok until the motor set over night. The new pump is just awesome. never drops below 45 psi...
I like it but maybe I should have done a high lift, second guessing my choices but I wanted to run regular pump gas and just be a little sleeper out on the road.
Sorry guys, I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to get back on this little project. I did have to replace the oil pump a few weeks ago but now I am looking at On3 Performance and or a Procharger. My goal is 450 to 500 HP at the wheels. So I know that Long Tube headers are a must as...
I decided to do a complete DOD/AFM delete. I put a low lift cam in it, replaced the oil pump with a high pressure high volume pump and am thinking about adding a On3 Performance Turbo on it as well. J2 Motorsports in Killeen, TX did the tune. I am also going to put long tube headers on it as...
So it showed 272 HP and 293 Lbs of Torque at 90 mph because I have S rated tires on it and when he pushed it to 128 mph the tires got a nasty looking wrinkle to them and he let off fearing they would explode. I was moving pretty quick too when I seen it...I know that GM calls 320 HP at the crank...
Jeez, This place is full of Smack Talking Hot Rodders, So this Corvette shows up with a Supercharger and Nitrous. It is a ZR1 Vette, He is putting out over 1100 HP with his setup and he isn't done yet...
