Thanks man! I think it depends on the direction you're going with your build. If you're gonna lift it or shoot for an offroad look, the Z71 rack looks great and I'd say it works way better with the roller in the rear. If you're shooting for a look that's gonna stay on the street, I would lean...
Huh - I guess I've never posted pictures. Maybe I should do a build thread. Anyway, this is a couple months ago after I repainted the hood and roof in my garage and swapped to an Escalade rack. It looks tons better than before, but it still needs quite a bit
That's what I'm doing now, my PRND321 doesn't illuminate - solder joints broken, from what I've read.
Without getting all philosophical, I think what makes cars look old and worn out is when you don't fix the little things that break. I've let a lot of stuff go on my Denali over the years that...
**** QUICK DISCLAIMER **** I'm a bit bored at work today.
I went down a rabbit hole today of instrument clusters. Until today I thought they were mostly the same except for stuff like trans temp gauges and cool fonts/chrome trim on Esky clusters. I was on FB looking at posts of a local cluster...
I might have seen the same video with dude dropping his tank. I took it to my mechanic because I really didn't want to drop my tank in my driveway. The shop vac thing would've saved me a couple hundred
I fought this a few years ago on my 05 Denali. I replaced the evap stuff, but the fix ended up being charcoal pellets in the vent lines. Once those were blown out by my mechanic (worth it for me since I don't have a lift) it's been fine ever since
I guess that's where I'm confused. If it's coming out of the hole shown in the second picture he posted on page 1, that kinda looks like the water is trapped behind the Escalade cladding at the bottom of the hatch. If it's inside the actual hatch structure, that's way different
Wait, do you mean water is accumulating at the top near the center brake light or the bottom cladding that's near the bottom when closed? I thought you meant in the bottom cladding, which I think is attached with double sided tape.
He has the one everyone wishes MTX still sold...
I have a similar setup to @Rocket Man in my 05 Denali. I have an Alpine ILX-W650 head unit going to the stock system but with a separate amp and sub running from the sub outputs of the Alpine
It's pretty rare to see a Bermuda Blue Denali...
A few years back mine had a similar issue. Turned out to be a the plastic coolant pipe that goes from the water pump to the heater and expansion tank. I replaced it and the water pump while I was at it. If you're a DIY kinda person, these are the best vehicles out there right now
They really were. Those aren't even the originals. I paid an ass ton of money to get them replaced by the dealer in 2011, well before I knew about this forum
