Basically even on smooth roads the ride is not smooth. It feels like a vehicle with no suspension at all. Feels like subtle rumble strips basically the entire time im driving it, even at fairly low speeds. Gets significantly worse at high speed. Above 75 its unbearable which led to wheel...
Hello, recently my Yukon is riding terribly. It is an SLT with Air/Electronic and 6.2 swap with 200k miles
I thought it was just tires/wheel balance. Since my Michelins were basically bald, I had new continental tires put on. The ride is the same.
I overhauled the whole suspension at about...
I need to add a couple connections to get the rear dvd to work. I would like to buy these same type of connectors but I don’t know how to determine which one to buy l
I had something similar
Replacing all the battery wires fixed my issue. The positive to the alternator, the positive to the starter, and the negative cable. I bought factory GM new parts, cost about $200.
I am not following on what filter to buy? I use all kinds of plug and play harnesses to get this system to work so I am not sure where a filter would go.
Also I tried two usb chargers, they're both no name brands so idk if buying a higher quality one will work
Hey all, got my new kenwood installed. I connected a 1080p basic Roku to it. When I power the Roku with the USB or a cigarette to usb adapter, I get bad feedback through the speakers. I powered it using an external battery with usb connector and the noise was gone.
Not sure how to fix this...
So now that I have been through the ringer on this, I am confident the radio I picked is a great option as long as you don't care about DVDs/factory GPS
The kenwood has an HD screen with great resolution and it only boots up slightly slower than the factory. I am really loving it so far. I am...
I think I can route the microphone wiring up through the a pillar and under the headliner. I just gotta research how to pull the headliner back enough. Then I can mount it in the factory location
Chime speaker mounted and ran the obd port wire
Just poking around now for best microphone position. I would like to use factory location but I am not sure how to get it to the overhead yet. Need to research
Just need to get the third row screen working and will see if the 100 watt usb charger is enough for the Roku
After that just gotta route the microphone and the chime speaker (I think I need the microphone?)
This looks promising, I can cut the kenwood adapter harness (its only like 15 bucks) and splice this in.

Talked to idatalink. The voltage reducer is not reducing the output enough and since I just have an SLT and not a Denali the amp gain cannot be adjusted.
He said the only other thing I can try is manually splicing the wires into RCA front and rear
So I’d have to cut the plug and play...
