    Beat the **** out of it all day. Zero issues. Except I suspect its fuel pump time. It nosed over when my fuel got low. Same thing it does on e85.

    This seems worth it. Spending $1300 on a portable generator and an outdoor switch has already paid for itself many times. This at $130 I'd imagine will be worth every penny as well.

    Unfortunately didn't have time for this. I actually finished everything up literally 5 minutes before a thunderstorm came in with high winds. Now that I know how it all works, it will be easy for future job. Just ***** to drain the gear oil again, that stuff stinks.

    Next thing I gotta figure out is why my brakes are god awful. When I took the rear rotors off it didn't even look like they were being activated. I recently did a front/rear brake swap with stoptech pads/rotors and a full brake bleed.

    Having done the cam/headers I would much rather have a blower with stock exhaust manifolds. As I get older, I am just not a fan of headers on a daily driver. Too many downsides for 20-30 hp. High flow cats also don't filter that well when you have a cam, so you'll still get a smell. Albeit...

    Yeah it was just the G80 locking up in 1st gear when I spun the tires and destroyed the spider gears. Now that I see how it works, it's really amazing it lasted even this long.

    3 hrs! to set backlash. Got it to .009. Its all buttoned up will start in morning. Crossing fingers

    Diff is in. Got backlash of .013 so will shim it in a bit further. Hopefully all done by tonight. The adjustable shims are real nice.

    The hangup today was finding proper driver for the bearing. Socket i had would work until the bearing was flush with housing. Bearing has yo go slightly below so i ran around looking for tools. The ball joint press kit had a sleeve that worked perfectly.

    Checked backlash. Got .011. Looks like a consistent reading. With new diff do I just match it?

    Actually don't even need to take the bearings off, that's great. Need to heat up the ring gear and get it to slide off.
