    Proper Air Pressure

    I think you probably must go by the sticker, and how the tire sits on the ground. Too low and you will wear the sides. Too high a pressure and you will wear out the middle. remember under inflated tires run hotter, and get worse mileage.

    I bought an '07 Z56 today

    Jerry, The seats must be a little different on 07 vs. the 11. I came up with a drivers back cover pn# 25863492. they are not showing a number for ebony cloth seat bottom. maybe call your local dealer. 07Burbs idea is good but not cheap. maybe do the junk yard search also.

    looks good, you have any interior pics ? Steering wheel is super easy. You can get the replacement cloth seat covers from GM . or maybe change the seats to leather? And don't forget your DIC!

    Horn not working.

    It's the bundle marked 6J4 in the picture on the right. yep that's it. Maybe hook the tan and dk green wires together. look at that diagram carefully. i'm fairly sure that's it.

    Thanks Pete, but I already have silver trim, not wood. That's why I couldn't decide to wrap or paint. I think paint might have matched better, But I have to agree with Iamdub he said it would most likely get scratched . So I did the wrap. I've got a lot left over if ya need some Pete !!!!

    Another dual battery thread

    I'm not sure exactly how to wire it , most likely it never had a second battery. the second battery is an option. check your rpo codes in the glove box . 6A6 is the code you need to look for. batteries wired in parallel. Jeff, welcome to the forum from NC.

    If you can get access to wiring at the fan motor. take an OHM meter or test light and check for current. If you have current then it's most likely a bad motor.

    Oil Change

    Getting old suck's but it's so much easier to drop the car off at the Chevy dealer and go across the street for a beer while they do all the dirty work and its only like 35 bucks plus the cost of the beer!! I gave up changing oil 16 years ago.
