I changed the other rear 02 cleared the codes but I need to buy cats. Light was off for a while but ended up coming back. And i don't want to smell of no cats on my daily driver
looking for pics of what you guys have. From the led halo light rings to underglow. I'm in the process of planning what I want to do once i get a little more lift in my truck. Probably will do headlights, led's behind the grill, and in the wheel wells and or under body. Thanks
Has anyone made or bought some. I know some kits come with them but it looks like the only ones I can buy outside of a lift/leveling kit are from eBay. Not a fan of eBay stuff like that since who knows really what it's made from. Anyone have any helpful info or pics of what they have. Plannin to...
I'm looking to lift the front end a little more and figures between these struts and my rc lower strut spacer I could find a nice height that doesn't give to bad of angels. Does anyone have any experience with what clip level gives how much lift. My lower ball joints have a little play so I...
I guess my passenger side door had been repainted or partially resprayed at one point. Paint came off like it was hardly on the truck. Gonna trim the excess loose off and fill with touch up plaint and wet sand and see how it looks. So far I just got one quick thin coat on. Pulled off like this...
I have an alpine Double din DVD/nav 10w3 in sealed box and 250/1 mono block amp. That with the Bose system sounds really good. I'd like 2 12s or a 15 but I don't want to take up to much space and I'm not in high school anymore so I feel like I shouldn't... And my ears ring enough as it is
Only thing I keep thinking about is the wheel itself is bolted to the spacer then to the hub, so load on the wheel more towards the face side of the wheel but with a 20x10 with 5 back spacing and -19 offset the weight on the wheel is closer to the inside of the wheel. So the force and load is on...
I know everyone says wheel spacers are bad it wipes the front end out this and that, but how much worse could it be then using a wheel with less backspacing and offset. I feel like my stock 20x8.5 +31 offset/ 6 back spacing with a 2@ spacer would be easier on the truck than 20x10 with a -19 and...
That would probably be fine. Do you plan to tow with it or anything. Heat is really what kills the trans. Mines been very well taken care of that's why I'm on the fence about it. what trans do you have, 6 speed or 4 speed. My friend is a world class gm tech and he said 07 6 speeds are the ones...
Is it stock or lifted? Depends on the condition the trans is in. How's the fluid look and smell and how's the truck look overall. If it looks like it was used by day laborers it's probably been beaten on. If it was a soccer moms then she might have been easy on it. If it's dark and burnt...
What's the offset and backspace on the wheels. I have the same size tire and with a 2" level they have not rubbed, they did a little before the level. I have the 20x8.5 5 spoke wheels
Mine was stock when I got it with 275/60r20 (not the stock 275/55) was 36 front 38 rear. Now I'm a hair over 37 3/4 in the front and an even 38 in the back. I want more but I'm afraid to go any higher due to angle. I will probably get a 1" spacer for the rear tho. Yours sits tall, those shocks...
I'm assuming the bolts your talking about are the ones that hold the header to the head. The clamp thing only works for the flange to y pipe. You need a good stud extractor and they should come out no problem. What would you replace the truck with. If your looking at another 07-14 just keep what...
cats were hollowed out by previous owner. I don't like the smell of no cats so I need a new y pipe. Anyone have experience with aftermarket cats on their truck. Stock replacement is fine I don't need high flow cats or anything like that. Thank you
What's your fender heights at, and how much gain did you see from the shocks. I was afraid if I did both it would put the front end on to much of an angle and cause issues.
My 02 2500hd with a 6.0 was 40-50 at idle and 60 while driving. I had it from 160-193,000 miles . My 07 5.3 Tahoe is 40 idle 50-60 driving. I just got it and it had 160 on it. The 02 got dexos 07 has mobile 1 both were 5w30.
Top is fill bottom is drain. There is a big nut welded to my fill plug since the previous owner stripped it and this was his way of fixing it lol. I use syn mobile 1 front and back. Is yours all wheel drive or selectable 4x4. It will make a difference on the fluid you will need.
I have the 2" 49.99 rough country kit in the front of my Tahoe. 275/60r20 clear fine. Before the leveling kit went on they would leave light rub marks on sway bar and wheel well. Pic is before and after
Those tires are the same height as mine but just 1 inch wider. Mine clear no issue with a 2" level. i think since you had em on a stock wheel they probably were an inch or so taller than if they were on a 10" wide.
