Ever since I purchased these Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza tires from Costco, they have had a vibration in them. I originally went for Michelin, but those were out of stock and I agreed to put these on. Now seems like such a $1000 mistake even after 3 years.
The tires still have 50% tread on...
Just wanted to confirm something about the transmission mount. I replaced mine the same time I had the driver side engine mount replaced. I recall that the mount only has one attachment bolt that attaches to the cross member and the transmission basically just sits on this mount. Does that sound...
I would like to replace my OEM radio with something that has a screen. I don't have NAV and I don't have a backup camera. I would just would like it to look better than this.
This thread is good, but I am still not sure how to get to a replacement. Obviously I need a new head unit and probably...
I have around 170K on my 2008 Yukon. Planning on replacing the driver side valve cover soon, but that's the only engine related item that needs attention.
Found the parts at gmpartsdirect. My interior color code is 333, which is "Light tan". I assume that is the same as cashmere.

Jut called Thompson GMC in Raleigh, NC. Not only is my main piece cracked, but the thinner piece that goes against the windshield is also cracked around the middle.
Smaller Dash Piece - $238.03
Main Dash Piece - $438.58
I may be wrong, but the price seems to have gone up on the parts.
So I watched that whole video. Will take a good amount of time and patience, but seems doable. I see he just repaired the dash in the video. I am tempted to apply plastic epoxy to the new dash in the weak areas before installing to give those 2 areas extra strength.
I apologize for creating another front dash crack thread. I do realize there are a few including the very long one that I have posted in many times. My dash has been cracked for a while now and recently the section behind the steering wheel is literally falling apart as you can see.
Now I have...
I gotta say that is pretty incompetent of them to not bolt the shock back on. Someone was smoking something over there. BTW, I would be looking over any suspension they touched.
The wear is just on the outside edge and only the right side. The door tag shows 32 PSI cold, which is what I was sticking with. So is there a recommended tire pressure (275/55/20)?
I hate these Bridgestone Duelers since I got them and will probably replace the with Michelin, but I would like...
Just rotated the tires again and the front right tire shows signs of outside wear. I am pretty good about keeping the correct tire pressure all the way around. I also asked the dealer to check the alignment and they say the alignment is good.
So....what may cause this type of outside wear on...
I was thinking about those steam cleaners that stanley steemer uses, but smaller that would fit better in a car. Not sure that exists. Maybe replacing the carpet is the best idea, not sure how hard that is assuming I got a direct replacement.
So my Yukon is officially 9 years old that has been abused by 3 kids for the past 4 years. So the carpet is probably more like a petri dish. Suggestions on getting rid of the smells without replacing the entire carpet?
I was changing brakes and noticed this red wire dangling that is not connected to anything but should be. Any idea where this connects to?
Looking down under under the hood....
Looking from drier side wheel well...
If you grab the top and bottom of the hub and there is some play up and down/in and out, may mean there hub is bad? Is that a tough replacement if you get the wheel bearing/hub assembly?
