Yeah, me too. We're probably gonna have to put some water or something down to make both break free, but at least it's done. We're both stoked, it's been taking up space for some time.
I thought about that. I may be able to run it on Advance and see if it shows what drivetrain it had. The RPO codes are specific for an individual vehicle, I don't even think it was there when we had it lol
Only info I found on the difference was the number of gears in the planetary, the 85 has 5 and the 80 has 4. Other than that you can identify it by the RPO code, which we don't have access to since the RV is gone now. I agree, being from an RV I bet it's the 85 since it's rated to 18k lbs...

Sorry for the delay, been silently working in the background on this project. Some of the final wiring is done for the harness, just need to get the transmission connector rewired for the 4L60 to 4L80 conversion but shouldn't be long, I hired a guy that is good with electrical so hopefully...

The day is here, its completed enough to run it! Got fuel lines hooked up, battery, alternator, it's all good under the hood, just a few minor things like MAF, coil mounting, etc. Heres some food for your ear hole! Enjoy...
