I tried Autotrader. I got a bunch of calls but zero interest. Not worth what I paid.
Craigslist works. Just give it time and bump every few days. Look at some competitive offers and slowly lower your price reverse auction style. I'd say lower the price once a week.
Don't discount the value of...
I think I'll create a new forum post for everything that happened to our 2001 Denali. I did a lot of good work to it. I've got lots of links for parts suppliers that were well researched and tested with different results. It was my hobby truck for the past almost three years. Hopefully when I do...
I think I found a GM RPO code decoder on this site or gm-trucks.com. Can't remember which. It was an Excel spreadsheet and super helpful. Only complaint is that it's a bit out of date.
Typing in RPO codes (especially for several vehicles) is super tedious. So I used an online image to text...
Howdy! Thanks for the replies! I've got a lot more to say.
I guess I'll start with my use case. I live in the middle of a large suburb on a five acre plot. It's highly unusual but here we are. I need a "farm truck" for all sorts of odds and ends: moving around building supplies, hobby project...

This post is a placeholder as I work...
On a local recommendation I ordered these vent caps:

I had a local body shop sand, paint, and install them. The charge for this was just shy of $400 for 3.6 hours of work and 3.0 units of paint.
The caps were a...
Correct, there is no hole, at least on my 2001 Denali. The interior wire and exterior antenna are inductively coupled (very clever!) so there is no need for a through wire.
Just be careful with the razor so as to not scratch or nick the glass. Slow and steady does it cutting decade old foam...
