Thanks for the help. So I tried these and it didn’t work.
However I did figure it out. I should have thought about this first but all I needed to do was go into settings-Apple CarPlay-manage devices and delete the device and re-add device. Boom. Months of headaches solved because I didn’t dive...
88k miles, and just recently my phone was having trouble connecting for Apple CarPlay. Still charges via cable and audio features etc but not Apple CarPlay. My wife’s phone worked until just a few weeks ago but worked longer than mine did.
I think I recall seeing something about at a certain...
they looked ok. You could tell there was some age on them and the little rubber nipple that sits in the frame to line it up was squished, somebody probably had taken them off before. The sway bar was rubbed raw down to bare metal. I am debating on upgrading the sway bars but if I don’t I’m going...
It’s the front and can’t tell what side it’s coming from. Almost sounds like both sides, or center, so I just need somebody to help listen to pin point. Good info, appreciate it.
besides visually inspecting them for tears or metal to metal contact, how can I check them? I tried to wiggle everything and nothing seemed loose. I’ll drop the sway bar mounts and grease them up good. I’ve got brand new polyurethane tie rod end bushings that I greased up well and checked to...
2016 Yukon xl Denali 4x4 84k miles.
Everytime I hit a bump going slow my front end squeaks like an old mattress, speed bumps, my drive way, seems like every bump. Thought it was coil overs but I recently replaced the mrc with an mrc delete and fox coil overs and it still does the same thing...
I would like to see side shots to confirm/help also. Depending on if you’re trying to keep the mag ride, I might suggest a different coil to lift it since you might have to buy something anyways. Also, in addition to side shots, a fender to ground measurement of the front and back would be a help.
Thanks! I’m pretty excited about it. I’m going to actually paint the wheels gloss black here soon. The plastidip started peeling off a little with the tire install.
well.... I hadn’t thought about it...until now. Where did you get yours, because now I have to check it out.
Just got back from the alignment shop. New 305/45/r22 Nitto Terra Grappler G2. Fox coil overs (right at 3” of lift over factory), fox 2.0 shocks in back. 1” rear lift spacers. Xingeering mrc delete. Airlift helper bags tied to factory compressor.
Have you done this yet? I just added 1” spacers to the back, deleted mrc, fox 2.0 shocks and kept factory compressor and tied them into air lift helper bags. Extended my rod lengths to compensate for 1” lift, everything seems to be working properly but would need to put a trailer on to see it it...
So I just did this exact thing. Fox coil overs,3/4 (didn’t delete auto leveling like I did in the front) xingeering mrc delete and used airlift bladder bags(60769) in the stock shocks and plumbed them to factory compressor. I added 1” spacers out back so I extended my auto leveling links using...
I dropped it 2.5 in the back to level it. Love the look and ride at first. Got it from Tony also. Rides rough now but because of the MagnaRide going out. About to pull trigger on fox coil overs and lift the back to stock plus an 1” spacer. Still finishing up my research but the fox coil overs...
So I’ve got the springs and spacers installed, but my question is in regards to the links. From what I’ve gathered, 3-11/16” is the distance from the shoulder to the other shoulder of the end links. But the new rods are about the same length as factory. So what’s the rough length to start with...
