    Spohn Rear Control Arms?

I saw these arms from Apoc, but can't find any opinions about them. They don't have a panhard bar, though. Cost of getting into these is cheaper than Spohn and they don't have the del-spehre joint...

    Spohn Rear Control Arms?

Thanks, guys. I want to replace the rear control arms on my 09 Tahoe as I am rebuilding the entire suspension. One of my lower control arms is bent, so it's definitely time to replace, and might as well do an upgrade, too. @Tozan suggested using the Spohn off-road set when I first started...

    Spohn Rear Control Arms?

Anyone running the Spohn adjustable rear upper and lower control arms on their lifted vehicle? Any regrets? I read comments on Ram forums where they said these are junk, and the joints are prone to breakage.

UCA - Zone vs Moog Problem Solver?

Thanks. I decided to go with the Moog Problem Solver UCA. If these turn out to not be a great fit, then I'll look at upgrading later. However, I would like to do it right the first time since I'll have everything taken apart, instead of swapping out to something different later down the road.

UCA - Zone vs Moog Problem Solver?

Aren't you using RC UCA? What made you decide to use those over the Moog UCA? Yeah, what the BDS tech told definitely has me leaning more toward the Moog UCA since it closely resembles the OEM UCA. I have to replace my UCAs anyway. However, if the Zones are supposed to stronger than OEM and...

UCA - Zone vs Moog Problem Solver?

I have a 2009 Tahoe LT that has a 2" leveling kit on it now. I am going to be refurbishing the entire front end suspension and will also be installing a BDS 4" coil-over kit. I have two UCA possibilities for my rebuild, Zone C2310 and the Moog Problem Solver. I was thinking the Zone would be a...

    Ground Clearance Measurement?

It has a 2" leveling kit on it now and will be getting a 4" BDS lift. I want to see where it is now against the GM spec for ground clearance, and where it will be after it receives the 4" lift.

    Ground Clearance Measurement?

    OK. Thanks! That helps!

    Ground Clearance Measurement?

Well, for example, GM says the ground clearance on my Tahoe is 9" Where are they measuring that?

    Tallest Tires on 17" rims?

What is the tallest tire that can be installed on a stock Tahoe 17" rim, and the Tahoe has a 2.25" leveling kit? I currently have 285/70/17 and those measure 32" from ground to top of tire, but looks like there is still room for a larger tire

    Ground Clearance Measurement?

Where does everyone typically measure their ground clearance? I was thinking it would be the lowest point in the vehicle which would be the rear diff pumpkin.

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

The parts I got that are pictured in my initial post are from Amazon, and not one of their third-party sellers. I was careful to make sure that I was getting it directly from Amazon. I have had orders that were directly from Amazon that I end up sending back because they were clearly used by...

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Thanks for all the great responses, guys!

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Wow! That is just nuts! Too bad big suppliers Like Amazon can't do the same guarantee!

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

I placed an order with Summit. They did have a Beat-the-Price thing, and I mentioned how much Rock Auto charged. I was able to get a bit lower price than what Rock Auto would have got from me out the door. Anyway, I'll post what my experience is with the parts after I get them from Summit; they...

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Lovely. Well, sending back the Amazon POS parts and going to try Summit. Unfortunately, I can't use Rock Auto since they won't ship to my state (Colorado).

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Perfect! That's the answer I was looking for! I thought that grease should not be there, too, but was not sure because I had not replaced a hub and wondered if this is what is like coming out of the box.

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

For me, I am doing a complete rebuild of my front-end (ball joints, cv axel, tie rods...), since my Tahoe has 140K miles on it; the ball joint is shot on one side. There also seemed to be a little play on the tires when I rocked them while jacked up. Since I am tearing apart the front end...

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Does your's have grease residue around where the sensor wire attaches to the hub? See one of the pictures I posted of the wire attachment. Both of the ones I got are like this.

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Maybe. I have been considering that option. Unless Summit is a good alternative.

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Is ordering from Summit as good as Rock Auto?

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

The parts were tamped with Timken and Made in USA. I can't order anything from Rock AUto because they won't ship to my location - they won't pay the state and city tax seperate.

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Thanks. Unfortunately, I can't order from Rock Auto. They won't ship to my location because they would have to pay state and city taxes separately.

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

I got them from Amazon, so the return is not too bad, except for the wait time. But, hoping to avoid that if this is only some sloppy assembly work

    Bad Timken Hub Asembly?

Hi. I recently purchased two new Timken SP500301 hub assemblies for my 2009 Tahoe LT. Unboxing both hub assemblies, I noticed some grease around the area where the sensor wire attaches to the hub. Both hub assemblies are doing this and I provided a picture of one of them. Is it normal to expect...
