Well its the volume vs pressure question From what I am hearing 5.3 with dod the pump has enough volume for my SC, researching different years before dod and after, will wait for your finding. Edit GM tech checking the difference- Chrismnj

Was talking to gm guy and that what he said too, most guys deleteing dod change the pump from non dod- Chrismnj

I did get ceramic coating on my headers but also bought exhaust heat wrap, thinking about wrapping Y pipe specially at the point where it crosses transmission pan.- Chrismnj

Some more goodies showed up while I was gone AC Delco professional water pump, also have 160 degree thermostat. Heat sleeve for plugs, not sure if I am going to use it, will see when installing Engine cooler lines, Transmission ones have been changed 2 weeks ago, and the Y connection...- Chrismnj

Heads were coming off anyway for new lifters and trays, all new gaskets and bolts, actually have two sets of gaskets one from BTR and I bought AC Delco.- Chrismnj

Only one broken bolt on exhaust manifold, Y pipe was a bit pain ended up cutting it off. Everything else no problems so far.- Chrismnj
