Try a top end cleaner like the SEAFOAM for direct injection engines. Clean your throttle body and MAF sensor attached to the intake tube. Could be getting a bad air fuel mix from a dirty intake area.
I had an 04 Denali that had a CEL On the dash for 02 sensors…. Changed all 4 and still had a...
What’s up guys,
My 2019 Suburban LT 4x4 just hit 71k miles,
Decided to do the SEAFOAM induction treatment to see what difference it would make.
The truck has been BB tuned and run on solely 91 Octane chevron (California fuel) since 6k miles (bought new with 6 miles) oil had always been mobile 1...
I know some guys back off on the preload and add anywhere from 1/2”-1” spacer to help out.
That stance looks good right there, I’ll figure out trimming once I get the new rims and tires delivered. Will be interesting.
I may be a freak situation but I’ve owned my 2019 since new and I am now at 69,800 miles and I haven’t touched the transmission fluid whatsoever. The only thing I have is a black bear transmission tune in it. And my truck is definitely not driven gently and it does occasionally tow a few times a...
Well here’s a late update I finally pulled the trigger and got my uniball uppers my alignment cams and my king 2.5 remote reservoir coil overs. When I get a chance I’m going to order King remote reservoir piggyback shocks For the rear. I’m coming up due for new tires so I think I’m gonna go up a...
I’m running a 3 inch lift but it’s a no name because I created it myself from parts I’ve shopped for on eBay. It’s been working well but at 70,000 miles my stock suspension is worn out and it’s time for an upgrade
I have had my 2019 LT 4wd Suburban since new luxury package and bench seat. Currently @64k miles and haven’t had a single issue on it… btw it’s been BB tuned since it’s had 6k miles on it nothing but 91 octane has been through it…. I would for sure buy another
I have LED bulbs in the front turn signals, installed them when the truck got home from the dealer I love them and it gives these trucks the higher end look they deserve. No hyper flash or issues. Have been installed for 2 years
With some research I now know the half shafts and hubs and knuckles will bolt on.
Before I thought the H2 diff and shaft flanges were a different size due to the 3/4t hardware that would require some mods.
Just had a bit of a thought here with planning future Suburban upgrades… specifically with the undercarriage. I couldn’t find specific info on this.
Looks to me like a H2 rear SF14bolt with fit under the 1500 SUV’s with the same mount points. For the front I see that I can put the 1500HD...
The 6.6 gas would be an excellent tow pig option for the Suburbans, low end torque no DOD/AFM most likely E85 compatible and comes with the 6L90/HD transfer case. It’s an LT architecture also so programming and figment won’t be such an issue.
I was looking at those vertex’s, the price is right and they look like they can take a beating…. till I saw they aren’t rebuildable, I’m trying my best to put rebuildable items on my Burb’
Just got back from the trip and snow performance was amazing, made a parking spot here in Yosemite that was fluff before. 2wd snow grip is awesome but once in 4wd these tires keep this 6k truck planted well.
So far no rub, night and day difference in ride/handling/traction than the fuel Gripper A/T I had on this before. That was a 265-70-R18 size. Will be taking it to the snow next week so I’ll get a better feel for them. Rain traction is terrific btw.
Thanks man, I’m debating painting the grill surround to match the mesh inserts and most of the body chrome I want to vinyl wrap also. I was looking at factory blacked out parts but the DIY way saves a ton of money.
These photos show the before and after of the front and rear… the stance is perfect now and no more rubbing on my upper arms due to my 3” leveling kit up front…. The spacers fit without trimming the nubs on the wheels studs, I put blue loctite and torqued to 140ft-lbs and rechecked a week later...
Here’s my 1.5“ install for anyone curious about what spacers to use and how they fit our 2015-20 models. I have 18x8 KMC granite wheels +30 offset and 275/65R18 fuel grabber tires which are the OEM trail boss rim and tire size. I did install front and rear but the front was my main issue due to...
Not Planning on it yet, A big reason I got my 2019 LT 4x4 Suburban was knowing there is a massive platform change… especially to IFS. Me and the wife loved the New suburban though it is massive even compared to my 2019 and 1990 v2500. The Z71 checked all the boxes.
I’ll wait a few more years...
3” spacer up front and 3.5-4” in the rear. Uniball UCA’s and either Icon or Radflow coil overs next. I’m searching for a RIDERITE air helper kit also for when I load her up. I don’t have the Maxtow package.
