I honestly didn’t even think about a blower until he said something. But I definitely know that it’s wise to run one. Once the coolant temp hits a certain degrees your fans will kick on. If you’ve ever gotten hot going down the interstate you’ll hear the fans run at full speed. That’s when my...
Hey Foggy I’m not trying to argue either. I also wasn’t implying you had a crappy swap. Hearing that you had an intercooler and were doing a meth injection setup from snow performance naturally makes most people assume you have a diesel. So I am sorry if that assumption upset you that wasn’t my...

Changing the fan duty cycle settings in the ECM does help at highway speeds. It actually helps at all speeds. They aren’t dependent upon speed but actually on the temperature of the coolant. It sounds to me like you have a diesel swap in your truck which is a completely different ball game to...
Dude seriously get a tune! I know the bigger Ext trans cooler is a must but the new fan settings are amazing so far with the tune!!

Well if you hate the sound of Bald Eagles [emoji1659] then headers aren’t for you. But if you love freedom and the sound of pure American bald eagles under your ass then get you some! Drone isn’t really there. I had more with no resonator and everything else stock. The wife however was not very...
Yes it’s AWD. No fitment issues for me. Everything clears. The cross over pipe is about an 1/8 inch from the tranny pan.

Little exhaust clip now that she’s all buttoned up. Speed engineering long tubes and Y pipe kit, factory cat back with a deleted resonator.

You definitely don’t need to remove the exhaust manifold. I did everything from the top side as well. Except of course placing the floor jack. Just make sure you have patience and beer.

You’ll need a floor jack and a block of wood. Jack up to the engine to hold it. Disconnect steering shaft and get some wobbly sockets. It even easier if you take off the exhaust manifold so if you want to you could order some long tubes like I did [emoji16]

Oh I did. 3 to be exact! Two were easy enough with a pair of vise grips but took awhile to back out a 1/4 turn at a time. The last one I needed to borrow a buddy’s bolt extracting chuck that clamps the stud tighter as you loosen. I wish I could post the video of open headers [emoji16]

It was a busy day. All new Amsoil in the diffs, transfer case & tranny. And some speed engineering long tubes because I guess I like pissing off the wife [emoji2371]

Those are the lines for your oil cooler. Easy fix. Also the hex plug on the side likes to leak as well. Get some gasket maker and put it lightly on the threads of that and then tighten it up. Just make sure to not use too much cause you don’t want that stuff getting in your oil. Since you have...
Looks like I have a factory external trans cooler. Also just got my Denali tuned and GM sets these things up for failure. Your fans don’t go over a 60% duty cycle until after 222 degrees. Not I have 97% duty cycle by the time it hits 215.

I got them from Custom Offsets. I haven’t found them again since I bought them. Not sure if KMC discontinued them? I now have 305’s on them and it’s soooo freakin sick.
