Who had their 21’s out in the snow?

Got 60k out of the Wrangler SRA's that came stock on the Suburban, then 55k out of the first set of Cooper AT3 4s, and have 15k on the second set. Mostly highway miles but often loaded up with the family, gear and a utility trailer. They get a little louder as they wear but nothing like the...

Who had their 21’s out in the snow?

Had two sets of the At3 4s ‘s on my ‘16 Suburban. Really great in snow and good overall performers. Will put them on my At4 when the stock Goodyears wear.

Yes, all High Countrys have MRC. Sorry, I don't know anything about the sensor rods!

2022 Z71 - how to keep it in sport mode?

Most vehicles are filled with unnecessary gimmicks now anyway. I used sport mode when driving through some hilly, windy terrain last weekend -- nice to maintain the higher shift points. Like you said, any handling benefit is inconsequential on something this large & heavy anyway. But the...

    Suburban LS base model diesel

MRC alone doesn’t give you ride height adjustability - for that you need MRC plus air ride. That combo is optional on the high country, but MRC alone is standard. If you’ve got them both then the height adjustment is done with the lower half of the drive mode knob. This generation doesn’t...

Limited Slip Differential on 2022 Z71

Same here, the G80 has always worked well for me. Havent had the eLSD in anything slick yet - can't imagine the difference is all that significant unless you're into something pretty rough.

Limited Slip Differential on 2022 Z71

The '21 Yukon had the eLSD available on the At4 and Denali. That is what they tested in that video. Other trims of the Yukon and all Tahoe's/Suburbans could get the mechanical locking diff. For '22 the eLSD is also available in the Tahoe/Suburban.

2022 RSE Rear Seat Entertainment Setup Without Internet

Not sure they can pin this on the chip shortage. These screens should have been preloaded with content --- apparently there are some '22s in the wild that way (links to dealer demos have been posted in the other threads). Look at the similar screens in the Wagoneer with Amazon Fire TV...

    Wind Noise

You get a chance to take a closer look? Rode in the backseat of mine tonight to take a better listen. Only thing i can really notice on the outside is the trim piece above the rear window sticks out a bit more than the closed rear door. On the driver's side they are flush. Think thats...

Glitch in 2022 Yukon HUD Software

My ‘22 does the same thing. I just removed speed limit from the hud altogether - something about seeing that sign format is annoying !

Lifter Issues on ‘21s Being Delivered to Dealers

Don't blame anyone for hostility toward GM on this issue - but also haven't seen anything that would make me believe this is a widespread failure rate due to a design issue. GM has sold 200,000+ of the SUVs so far this year, 215,000 last year, and over a million of the pickups with basically...

    2022 RSE Apps

Strange, here is a dealer walking through a '22 that clearly has Hulu and youtube apps built into the RSE. Maybe some of the '22's were built with the apps preloaded and others not. 22 Denali

    Dash redo for 2023?

They definitely share more now in '22 but the Sierra has the big advantage of no push button transmission, the bigger infotainment, and nicer looking detailing - at least in the pictures available so far. Maybe GM updates the SUVs next model year, if not they will be in the weird spot of the...

Anyone put a roof rack on yet?

The directions that came with the OEM ones said to put the front rail near the back of the sunroof --- and then if using a cargo box the rear rail goes 27" behind that. Thats how I spaced mine ... overall looks biased toward the rear but the rails are easy to slide around if you want.

Lifter Issues on ‘21s Being Delivered to Dealers

People keep wording it that way but it’s not all units being shipped to dealers. It’s all affected 2021s. That may still just be units with motors built by April. Again, I’m not defending GM for how they’ve handled this with customers - they should bend over backwards to satisfy a buyer...

Lifter Issues on ‘21s Being Delivered to Dealers

Not to defend GM, but I understood the new directive to dealers was not about newly built units…but about 2021 units just arriving now at dealers. It’s within reason that these were built prior to April and had been sitting around incomplete and are just being shipped now.

Heated/Cooled Seats to Work at Later Date

I do think it will vary alot within the model year. This is almost a month to month thing. My ‘22 has about every option (more than I would have ordered but I took what we found at a dealer) including max tow, 4 way lumbar, air susp etc. A friend leased a Mercedes’ a few months ago- it was...

    Lifter Club

Article on gmauthority this morning reporting gm has instructed to replace both lifter banks on affected ‘21s that are currently in transit to dealers prior to delivery. It’s ridiculous they don’t do this for customers that have already purchased and instead mess around with one bank at a time.

    2022 RSE Apps

Hoping what went on here is that the '21 RSE wouldn't work with the new '22 infotainment so they pushed the vehicles out with limited rear seat functionality but they can eventually do an over the air update to build some back. Probably wishful thinking but since I've already purchased might...

    2022 RSE Apps

'22 At4 -- still has the two USB-c ports and two HDMIs. Screens are touchscreen. Looks like the GMC website now shows the Wifi projection is with an android -- we have iphones so havent gotten that to work. Pretty much agree with other posters that the '22 system is a ripoff. The GMC...
