What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?
Just to follow up, I put in some D3S LEDs and they are slightly better. These projectors are just trash. The LEDs will instantly turn to full brightness giving them an edge over the stock HIDs, however I am still wanting more. I reassert that the fog LEDs are the saviors on the 18 Denali...- K2 Kaiju

Why the switch to big rims?
The only issue with the "performance" argument is that the inch in side wall reduction - while significant in a sports car - doesn't mean squat with a 3 ton body-on-frame SUV pushing down heavy on any tire. I feel a slight difference with the 18s in quick turns, but I can still go through them... -

Ditched the 22 Snowflakes for 18" AT4 Wheels
So you are doing a drop? Honestly, I only see drops on bigger wheels while lifts generally go smaller; you may be the first I have seen want a drop with 18s. That being said, post up what you decide - I imagine 285s would be the choice here... -

Today was the first time I missed the my old rig; I learned the short body cant take a 4X8 sheet of wood. Luckily it was a thin veneer sheet that flexed up over the top of the front seats. So what is the ususal strat here for plywood sheets - a bungee or something ?- K2 Kaiju

All Weather Tire Recommendations.

33” Tires 2015-2020 Yukon
Check out lifted suspension section. Some can put on that size on stock wheel/hight, some cant. Level doesnt allow more tire clearance on these as you still have to deal with rear of front wheel well rubbing on turns. Mine was really close with same tire size you have now... -

As Doubelieve was refering to, thieves try to sniff your signal from inside the house, then amplify it to a receiver by the car and get in and go. All tahoes have loads of expensive parts to sell which makes them a valuable theft. I would report it to the police...- K2 Kaiju

So true - my fogs are most of my low beam visibility. My brights are fantastic with 9005 LEDs, but the hids are not good, even after replacing the bulbs. Not as bad as the burb was with halogens (dangerous), but worse than burb with leds. Im going to try some LED D3S bulbs soon...- K2 Kaiju

Help a newbie, ‘21 Tahoe z71
1st year tahoes have never been reliable (07,15) because GM uses those years as test mules. The 21 was also smack dab in the middle of the chip and supply chain shortage. Lots of standard options not installed, and so many sat in lots waiting for parts. Im still not sure they have everything...- K2 Kaiju

Buying a 2020 Yukon with L83 5.3L EcoTec - Should I worry about AFM Lifter Failure
Not a rental fan - hard miles. They may have good maintenance records, but they usually have much more wear and tear as heavy suitcases and a full load of people are involved almost every time. Sometimes people use it one day for a specific heavy use like pulling a really big boat or trailer...- K2 Kaiju

07-10 were original design, and most problematic until the most recent models which suffer from the pandemic supply chain/chip shortage/alt supplier issues. The L83 was pretty well sorted out by 2020 - I would say thats the best year especially if it was built before March 2020 when everything...- K2 Kaiju

Did the Seafoam top end clean follwed by an Italian tune up and oil change. The oil was so fuggin thin, like dark water. Runs good though. So glad I purchased a clean local TX truck... Also changed the tune for the new tire size and pulled throttle response from +20 to +7. Much better now - I...- K2 Kaiju
