As a Lexus owner/fanboi, I LOVE that 3rd gen GS.

Interesting OBS Yukon You May Or May Not Heard Of

It is pretty cool in a "WTF 90s" sort of way, but homeboy is about $10k too high on the price.

2011 Yukon SLT - starting to mod

It's a very common mod, so I'm sure there is a how-to-swap thread and plenty pictures floating around somewhere. I can take some of mine later, if need be. It's still fully usable as a grab handle when washing, I use it every time, haha.

2011 Yukon SLT - starting to mod

Running boards and Escalade/Denali roof rack maybe? I would skip the door moldings, I like how it looks now. I agree that the rear bumper could use a chrome strip. Then lower it?

    Got my old tahoe back

Congrats on getting it back! That thing is super sick! Are you dead set on chrome wheels? I honestly kind of dig the black wheels on it (not the fact that they're 17s, just the color). If it were me, I'd track down some silver ones that match your stripe, then wrap the chrome Escalade running...

    NS's 2012 ccsb build

I actually like the wrapped pillars, but I think they would look 100x better if your truck were all white & black (no chrome).

08 Escalade or keep my 03 Tahoe - Tahoe sold Esky bought!

I just went from a 2000 Burb to a 2007 Denali, and it's amazing how much more refined the GMT-900 feels in almost every department. I absolutely adored my 2000 Suburban thanks to its years of loyal service, but I'm already more in love with the '07 Denali and I'm only two months into ownership...

THE WHAT WOULD YOU DO THREAD.

This. I think your Tahoe is stuck in purgatory between the stormtrooper look and a full white-out. I would go one of two ways from here: Embrace the white - Get an Escalade roof rack in all white, paint the lower portion of your mirrors, paint the wheels, etc. All white everything. Add some...

    BFC Retrofit Projectors - SOLD

I'm interested in these, however I was looking on BFC's website and noticed there is a choice for Yukon specific and Denali specific. I assume these are Yukon specific, and I'd be putting them on a Denali. Anyone know the difference between the two?

    Go Industries Quad Bumper

Yeah, if you're trying to ditch the unmarked cop car look, that thing is DEFINITELY not the way to go. It is interesting, though. I've never seen one quite like it before.

    Denali vs. Suburban 2500

I'm no mechanic, so I don't know if only doing one head is okay or not... Typically, I'd say any maintenance/repairs is good maintenance/repairs, but the fact that it was obviously worked on by an amateur who messed things up makes me wonder what else that guy might've "fixed." I would go...

Newbie here just got my 13 ltz Tahoe last week want to mod. Help please!

There is not a modification on the planet that looks cheaper than chrome window visors. It's your truck, so if you like it, go ahead, but most other people will see it as cheap. A good rule to follow is: "if it's chrome and installs with double-sided tape, it's going to look cheap." Like...

    Best Exhaust For Me

As a former college kid (graduated in March) who just picked up an '07 Denali, I feel your pain. The Corsa systems are cat-back, if I recall, so since you'll be swapping out all your factory exhaust anyway, no reason not to hack it up and install an aftermarket muffler in the mean time. You...

    Denali vs. Suburban 2500

I have a 2000 Suburban 2500 with the 6.0L and 4L80E combo and it has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. 212,000 miles on (as far as I know) the original engine and transmission. It is terribly slow and gets about 11 MPG when you aren't towing anything and are keeping your foot out...

Can i install aftermarket speakers with new dd and bose?

Partially because of this: And also just because, for the most part, speakers are speakers. It'd be one thing if you were changing the factory speakers out of a 1986 Oldsmobile, but this is a modern SUV with "premium" audio. Changing the signal that goes to the speakers will make the major...

    6l90e Problems?

Mine did the same thing and it is all gone now that I've replaced the driver's side motor mount. What a relief!

    9005 dust covers = no LED's?!?!?

Have you looked into converting to factory HID or retrofitting your existing lights with projectors? It'll be expensive, but it seems worth it to spend the extra coin on a pretty much brand new truck to have legal, reliable, effective headlights.

    Broken Motor Mounts

Glad to hear you got taken care of, Bruce. I just did my driver's side motor mount which eliminated the nasty clunk my Denali has had since before I bought it. Ended up paying the money for AC Delco because all the aftermarket ones had such terrible reviews. So far, so good!

Is there a difference between 07-08 & 09+ intake systems?

I'm getting ready to do an intake and tune on my '07 6.2L Denali. The shop that is going to do it has a brand new Airaid 201-270 that a customer had ordered for his 5.3L Silverado a few years ago and never came to collect. They're willing to make me a sweet deal on it, but according to Airaid's...

Escalade rear vent cover with red led lights

I'm on the fence about it. It looks cool, but that is a lot of red illumination in one area.

What other vehicles occupy your drive/garage?

Yeah, I've driven it quite a few times and it is a hell of a machine. The early models with a bit of mileage on them are getting pretty close to being "affordable." Even at 40-50k, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck.

    Exterior door handles

$200 for all four door handles is a steal at dealership pricing. Flat rate hours add up quickly and the bill gets pretty lucrative at $100+ per billable hour.

And I guess friends/roommate's cars occupy my driveway sometimes.

    New Purchase

Regarding the fender dent, it's going to be a little more difficult for a PDR guy to do because it's on a body line, but it should still be able to be improved 90%. It will probably run you $50-150 depending on who you talk to. No need to get into body work for a dent like that, unless you want...
