I didn't touch the bump stops but am considering lengthening the ride sensor rods just a tad, I feel like mine is lower in the rear than front. It rides great.

When you tune out the evap error code, all you're doing is eliminating the code, not the problem. If after replacing the canaster, valve and solenoid you still have the problem, look at the top of the gas tank for a collapsed fitting. The only way you can get the tank to fill is the allow the...
You will need to be careful on the spring rates or the VVT is not going to work right. I'd personally eliminate it all and save the aggravation, your blower is going to more than compensate for anything the VVT would help with down low.
As for the heads, also no need to go that route for your...
I've never heard of a transmission failure due to a DOD issue but all the more reasons to go thru the ECM relearn as I posted before.

Joe,
If your truck already has a 4 bolt throttle body, you need not change it but the throttle body will need upgrading to the larger GM. If its a 3 bolt, yes they sell an adapter plate but that also means you have the low flow injectors and to me its not worth it. You want to make sure if you...
Aaahh reminds me of what I just did to my old H2.
Your stock throttle body is going to be 72mm to 78mm, I forget which. That's not enough for that motor. You will need to upgrade to a 4 bolt 90mm and I'd recommend a ACDelco unit for a Corvette. Your intake might also need to be upgraded to...
Block, and heads are the same. Camshaft has different lift and duration designed for higher rpm's. The intake is also designed for higher rpms. They have lifter issues too.
Going to just throw this out there. I don't see a 2" drop in the spindles you posted. It looks like 1/2 to 3/4 inch to me. I asked about what it does with no struts because then that would eliminate anything binding. If it lays on the frame, then you know its in the strut assembly or...
How do you have auto ride on the rear and not front? Did you change the rear ride height rods? Have you driven it at all or just dropping it and measuring? When I lowered mine, I had to drive it a bit to get everything to settle in.
Different gaps for different applications was what I was inferring. Again, going back to the golden days there was a huge difference in the heat/spark from a plug gapped at .45 and .60. The E3 plugs have to depend on manufacturing specs, which we all know is not what it used to be. The cast a...
Here's the thing. Back in the golden days we could gap plugs for different applications, now, if you touch them, you risk breaking the electrode. That's all good but if you look at the vast array of applications, E3 only has so many plugs so how in the word can they be gapped appropriately...
For what's its worth I tried running those E3's in my H2 and Vette and just did not care for them at all. Power was reduced and idle not that smooth on each. For me, I stick with the ACDelco iridium's. Make sure you get the right heat range.

I had a BTR Stage II low lift in my H2 and it was a beast. Also look at swapping the stock intake for a stock TBSS intake, its a cheap mod and helps the bottom end too.

The 6.2 over the 5.3 all day long. There is not enough downside to not want the 6.2. What is it, 1 mpg better for the little motor? LOL...drive the 6.2 and then you will never think about the 5.3 again.
