    yes, i replaced mine when i put in a new seat pad, heater element and seat cover. if your seat cover is in good shape, just get the element. i believe Dorman makes one.

    likely a short in the heating element. over time , they just burn out. you can trace your wiring and look for any shorts. or just pull the seat cover, if the heating element is toast, it will be pretty obvious.

    2 things i would take a look at as i have basically the same truck. 1, if you can bring a code reader and see if there are any stored codes. 2, ask about the fuel pump. i myself have not replaced mine. but i feel like im on borrowed time with the one thats in there.

    i dont think its the gasket, they seem secure. and it looks like the gap at the top is wider than at the bottom. something is out of alignment, i just need to figure out how it got that way, and how to get it back.

    i have an 04 z71. i keep the stock tires on in the winter, and have some 20" i run in the summer. i like the front gap as it is. what can i do to close up the gap on the rear. id like to level, but looking to keep it simple and not have to do an elaborate suspension retrofit. ideas?
