Ya I saw that project farm video also !!! Rotella gas/truck is GOOD SH*T !!!!!!!! Which Oil filter do you use.
From my knowledge/experience O'reilly's/Napa Filters=WIX Advance Auto parts=FRAM Autozone STP= Champion Labs JUNK Walmart Supertech filters=Champion Labs JUNK Pep Boys auto parts (if you have any left in business:rolleyes:) = Champion Labs JUNK !! Anyone running Mobil One High Mileage Extended Performance?
oops I forgot to mention: Best time to get Mobil oil is when Mobil has an active rebate program going on. I waited on purpose April 1 2021 to get those M1 10W30 jugs @ $6 each so I can claim the $10 Mobil 1 digital rebates:driver: So In total I got $80 rebate from Mobil on $192 worth of oil...- bayareadude84

Ya 15K miles on a filter is plain stupid and asking to kill the motor with sludge. I do about (3) 3000-4000 mile OCI's and then replace with new Dave- bayareadude84

Anyone running Mobil One High Mileage Extended Performance?
It's marketed for vehicles with "HIGH miles" and not for you to drive longer between oil changes. Honestly, it's just some extra additives for the seals not to leak motor oil all over. IMO its not worth the extra cost as any regular name brand blend/full synthetic is good enough for these rigs...- bayareadude84

Anyone running Mobil One High Mileage Extended Performance?
You'll hear it small knock/clacking sound and your MPG will go down. Seems very common at 250K miles and higher. My 01 burban needed it at 325K miles cause the last moron owner was using Pennzoil "Diarrhea" conventional/Jiffy Lube service and was 12 months over due on a oil change. This is my "oil stash" I change every 4000 miles and use what I flip a coin on ;) On a side note on my '01 work burban 5.3 with 345K miles I had a bad lifter/piston slap noise going on. 01 burban front and rear HVAC. No heat upfront Heat in rear only ???
