Hit the fob key lock button twice. The horn should honk. If it doesn't then the locking mechanism is not working right. It could be linkage or lock actuator. Unfortunately it sounds like the door panel has to come off to inspect.
In the case of a busted door lock cylinder you can do what I did...
If the ac relay isn't getting voltage then it could be a problem with the head unit in the dash. Ditto for mode door actuator. This is where experience troubleshooting with a schematic becomes invaluable. Head units are around $100 on Amazon. No programming required.
I discovered after my purchase I had a horrible metallic racket up top. Sounded like a sheet metal tray loose sound. as it turns out I had some kind of tray completely off track and the drain hoses were leaking. a local sunroof guy fixed it all for $100
No. Not excessive. E rated tires are designed that way. Most people are used to SL rated passenger tires at 36 psi. But these are E rated LT tires we are talking about.

I had a horrible racket from the starter pinion sticking after letting my tahoe sit for two weeks. Old original starter with sticking solenoid or shift fork more than likely.
For what it' worth I am running Michelin LT 265 70 R17's on my 1/2 ton tahoe at 40 psi. I can't tell any difference in ride harshness. I'm sure I would notice if I fill them to 80 psi but I am only going to do that when towing my 7800 lb travel trailer. Even then with all that tongue weight it...
No tech2 needed for this. If you have 4WD you can put all four corners on jack stands and then put it in drive and hit the brakes. The ABS will activate to purge any air. You then need to bleed the brakes again. Maybe have to do this procedure 2 or three times. I had this happen when I replaced...
Is the check engine light on? Electronic dings from the speakers usually indicate something is being disabled after failing a test such as the brake system for stabilitrak or traction control. usually it is noted on the DIC.
I would disconnect the front driveshaft to isolate the noise. This is to rule out a possible stuck in 4WD issue. This would isolate the problem from the torque converter back to the differential and wheels. Usually however a vibration at higher speeds indicates an unbalanced driveshaft or wheel...
Without a maintenance history it would be difficult to say unless I saw it in person. It sounds like you have multiple issues from before. Any issues from before or did they all happen at once? How is the engine performing in park? How does it idle and respond to throttle inputs in park?
You...
Yes young padawan. You will learn quickly that a lot of newbies aren't going to have much experience with any type of gauge, let alone a fuel pressure gauge. Unfortunately we need to resort to jedi mind reading. Caution. It can be lethal in some instances!
I know the games...and this wouldn't be a very reputable shop in my book. If they pulled this kind of stunt it might eventually backfire on them at some point. What about former employee feedback or whistleblowers? It isn't all that easy to make a quick buck. Those types of shops are fly by...
If the shop is very reputable and provides proof other than the fluid color then I wouldn't have a problem with them providing me with this answer. After reading reviews pick three shops, get estimates from those three shops. And for goodness sake don't let them dismantle anything to the extent...
Update: Since my last post I added K&W FiberLock Head Gasket and block Repair to the coolant. It seems to be working very well. I haven't seen the coolant go down in the recovery reservoir at all. Level is just over half. As,a result I no longer get any whif of coolant under the hood like I used...
Not sure which bearing in this diagram.

(2) Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft Seal
(3) Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft Bearing
(4) Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft Housing
(5) Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft Retaining Ring
(6) Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft Bolt

Yep, you can do it yourself provided you are comfortable with the procedure or you have electronics and cluster exp. Otherwise I would pay to have someone do it that offers a warranty for their work. The guy that did my cluster provided a lifetime warranty for parts and labor on the stepper...
I noticed the sound also happens when I put it manually into 3rd gear as well. I think that pretty much rules out torque converter and transmission.
It sounds like some type of bearing running dry. I am going to take a look and check the driveshaft. The noise does not increase in pitch as the...
Does anyone have any opinions regarding replacement headlights? I got TYC replacements a year ago but they seem to cast too many shadows on the road. I say "seem" because I cant remember how the OEM's looked before. All I remember is that they were really yellowed and foggy. I got rid of them...
Around the 2004-2005 timeframe manufacturers were switching over to lead free solder (RoHS) for use in electronics and other things. Since the change it has been the cause of many solder related issues for vehicles during the first years of its use. Many of our models land right within that...
