1999 Tahoe w/~160k Cranks but won't start (some shudder)

As Drakon said, moisture under your distributor cap. I keep a torx driver and spare cap/rotor set in my 2001 Silverado, 190K miles. About every 8000 miles I get the crank, no start, and everytime it is moisture has made it's way into the cap and corroded the points and rotor to the point of...

Do you guys have a way to delete 15+ magnetic ride

@Dearmosd That is the way I understand it as well. I also agree with the assessment about the spring rate. There are many different springs available. Just enter your VIN on any GM Parts site and look at the options. Here is the GM part number for the upper mount with the non magnetic...

We are working on something, still quite a bit away from completing full testing. Bilstein 5100 (PN 24-251976) on 2015 Tahoe LTZ It will require a different top mount, but hoping to reuse the lower spring mount, isolator, bumpstop and spring. We will keep you updated.

Do you guys have a way to delete 15+ magnetic ride

@G00se You could run a leveling kit in the front with the struts. The rears are standard shocks and the ride height is (mostly) determined by the rear spring. So you would need to buy a spacer for the two rear springs.

Do you guys have a way to delete 15+ magnetic ride

@G00se Go with a fully assembled strut, like the Monroe. I'm not aware of any fully assembled AC Delco units, it would be great if they had them. I think a lot of people would go with them, for example if you could buy the fully assembled unit from an LT or LS, or non Denali Yukon. The AC...

Do you guys have a way to delete 15+ magnetic ride

@G00se Yes, another option is the Rancho RS999901 Quick Lift Loaded Strut, but it is a bit rough for daily driving. Even though it has "9-position tuning technology - Easily adjust ride quality and performance" I couldn't find one that was compliant enough for street duty. It was either too...

@bigxj91 They are a bit aggressive for my liking. Position 5 out of 9 ("performance selector knob") I feel is the best for the highway driving I do. We put them on for R&D and will be taking them off with less than 500 miles on them. We will probably put the pair up for sale on this forum for...

Bilstein 5100 vs level spacers for 2018 Tahoe

On the Front struts: When you put your lower spring seat on the new Bilstein did you use the 'lower spring mount adapter' that comes with the Bilstein or did you put the lower spring seat directly on the adjustable circlip? Also, did you use the shoulder washer from your old AC Delco shock on...

    More MagnaRide delete questions

@00Bullitt WOW, That is a crazy turn of events. Glad you made the cruise though. I was wondering if the newest flash for the SCM (suspension control module) could provide a better quality ride. While it still won't help for mechanically failed magneride shocks it seems like a much needed...

The ride is great without the magneride. These particular Ranchos up front are a bit aggressive for daily street driving, I just wanted to play around with them to see how they fit. They offer a great look aggressive feel and ride for offroading. I'll be putting some Monroe quick struts up...

2015 LTZ Stiff Ride in Rear

You can manually disconnect the air lines from the shock to see how far (or if) they come down. (Twist the metal clip 90 degrees, then pull the air fitting straight off) If they come down, then it is an issue with the air auto level system not releasing pressure. If they do NOTcome down, then...
