2009 tahoe..Is there a mod to add: AC SEAT to existing seats?
I have std LT2 package with power and heated seats.....but I've always wanted cool seats too..Just curious is someone's done a mod to add or what would be involved. -

2011 Tahoe sputters under low RPM
when was the last spark wires and plugs changed? >>>For some reason these motors are quite picky on plug wires and plugs....at least thats been my experience.....9/10 anytime I've had low rpm issues this has been the fix.- metelhead

2009 Tahoe@ 202k Rear Axle Seals....
Thanks....It turned out to just need seals, bearings were fine condition, as was the axle. I was also told, another option exists 'IF' the bearings/axle is too worn, there is option to relocated the bearing to a slightly different spot on the axle.- metelhead

Plasti Dippin' my rims tomorrow. Any suggestions?
Ok...you got my curiosity...when i first bought my rig I picked up some gmc wheels and had them matte black powder coated, that was about 200k miles ago, they still look decent but are starting to show wear and some chips... So I'd love to see more or hear more on what you did please -
New on the block, looking to drop a few inches off...
Tony the right guy to deal with...many have on here. Lots of folks do the 2/3 drop for dally drivers, but the best looking rides go a bit further for the 4/6...eitherway big improvements. Looks like a pretty clean ride for 150k, enjoy.- metelhead

Yes, perfect thanks for the conformation.... I went and rented the inner tie-rod tool however several parts didn't show today...In fact one of the boxes from UPS according to tracking info said it was already delivered, so I called amazon and explained the details...Amazon didn't believe UPS...- metelhead

New Tahoe RST
RST= Regular Stock Tahoe.....I wish! but honestly this really should be the 'starting point build wise' rather than the top-end...just saying. Love the Brembo, Magnetic shocks, 6.2/10speed, exhaust..... Price= is gonna be a killer, and I think should have had More of 'street stance'- metelhead

Note: I have a non PPV 09 LT...... However I'm about to do a total front end rebuild..... seems most pp opt to bang out the Lower Ball Joint out of the LCA.....Once I saw how inexpensive the Lower Control Arms/Ball joints assemblies were, that just became a no-brainer to me...for about $40 per...- metelhead

Decision made. Take delivery tomorrow on a new 2017 Denali
RST....I like the motor/tranny, magnetic shocks (those should be amazing on a big rig) ...these three item should have been stock items imo. I don't like the Price (yeah nobody even knows what it is yet, but shit the stock Tahoe is too expensive), the wheels, they could have given it a more...- metelhead

2009 Tahoe: Tie rod replacement-Inner tool question
I'm doing a front end rebuild (hopefully this weekend)...and part of the rebuild is replacing the tie-rods........But I haven't been able to find anywhere if the Inner Tie rod can be removed without a Tie-rod Tool or not?....I mean I googled, youtubed, forum searched....and all I find is mostly...- metelhead

Dam Impressive!....FWIW...I'm on my 2nd catch can, the 1st one was a joke and leaked like a sive, but still managed to fill it up due to my own negligence in draining it (I still had the AFM active)...the 2nd one is doing much better with less oil so far with AFM deactivated, new valve...- metelhead

Update...all new cooler lines, fluids and axle seals Done....amazing...and maybe just my imagination but the truck just feels tighter, snappier and altogether happy to go.... Gave it a good washing, waxed the windshields...starting to feel and look renewed, with a few more steps to go should...- metelhead

hmmm....read a bunch of reviews, mostly good, but the thing I did discover is #8 is about equal to a Bilstein HD, which I was hoping to hear a bit more adjustable for my use (I currently have the Bilsteins HD) and they feel pretty soft and underdamped to my butt. If the bilsteins had a clicker...- metelhead

Which Shocks Should I Go With??
I'd love to try some of those Fox shocks with Adjustable damping.....my biggest complaint with every tahoe I've had or driven is they are ALL underdamped....too little compression and rebound doesn't control the lumbering weight of these rigs....of course I want to truck to handle like german...- metelhead
